uploading and adding name protection

Hi all,
Well, I made a card that I want to upload...it'll be my first. I see that some people have their name on the card so it is harder for other's to copy and paste onto their website. (I have no problem with CASEing, but I'd like to get credit.)

I have my scanned image in PhotoShop editor and know how to add my name, but is there anything special I am supposed to put? Do I just add my name?

I see that some people have copyright symbols, but isn't that a legal thing?

I just figure if I am going to upload, I wanted to do it the safest way possible. (I am not a demo--yet! I am SERIOUSLY considering it, though.)

PS, I have two scrapbook pages that I am proud of too. (they are pocket pages for letters to our daughter.)

Thanks Susan! I remember reading that post a while ago, but couldn't find it again.

I have been searching copyright on the site and I think I found what I need. I have added to my picture an overlay that says created by Alice (c) Stampin' Up! 1990-2006.

I actually put the overlay at teh very bottom of the scanned image, rather than below it. I dont' know how to do it another way, but I think it looks fine. We'll see...I am about to upload it! YEA!
