Hi from Ohio. Good morning. I make cards mostly, but my first project was a huge scrapbook detailing the life of my uncle killed in WWII, created from a diary I gleaned from all of his war letters home. Letters musting in an old box for 60+ years. Turned out great, but in retrospect probably not a good "beginner" project LOL. It seems the general mindset of these SCS ladies is "if you can scrapbook you can make cards" and vs vs. Welcome. Jump right into the fun.
Thanks for your comment about my cutie pie puppy! I only stamp - not very crafty but sure would like to have some of the 'magic' in my fingers that some of these amazing people on this website have.
Thanks for all the warm welcomes...I do the scrapbooking and cardmaking; but just cards lately. I was blessed in August with my first grandchild..(boy) and I am looking forward to getting a scrapbook started on him; but for some reason having creative "block" lol; been scouring magazines and websites so maybe that will help!
oneligteningchick: that scrapbook of your uncle sounds awesome..how lucky you are to have letters; and papers detailing his experiences. I imagine its beautiful..
