Help with gallery....

Hi All!

I'm new here at SCS. Been a SU! for almost 7 years. Can someone please tell me how to post photos in the gallery? I started doing it, then I get a "Image Pending Approval" message. Does that mean all photos get approved first? Not sure if I'm doing it correctly or is there a size limit? Is there a tutorial how to on this?

Hi there!

Yes, all photos have to be approved before becoming available to view. We have some very hard working gallery moderators on this site!!! Normally, you will get an Email letting you know it's been approved, but we are having some gallery/Email issues related to some server switches... check out the home page for details.

The image will automatically be resized, so you don't have to worry about that.

Hey Thanks! I did get an email but somehow I still don't see the image. May have something to do with the gallery issues you're talking about. I'll hang tight! And again, thanks for the help!

I had and still do have the same problems. I posted a thread too about this very subject when I joined back in June. Pretty much received the same messages, that you just have to be patient. There is a really good thread on the home page of the "Start Here" that talks about this. Mine still get the pending approval message so I'm still convinced I am doing something wrong but I've let it go. However, I usually can't stand waiting to get my images on so I upload just before I go to bed. Then it's exciting to get up in the morning and find my image there with responses. It's just too fun!
