If you are new to the musical challenge, this is how it works. Each week on Saturday, I choose a song. I then ask you to make a card that is inspired by the chosen song. Then post your card here in the forum so we may all see it and leave love for you (comments). Then for each card made your name will go into a drawing to see who is going to be the recipient of the cards that everyone made. Then I will ask you to consider sending your card to the lucky recipient. Please note: you must put a link in this forum to your card in order to qualify for the drawing. It is not mandatory that you mail your card to the winner.
Congrats Bev. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I know I did. My pain level is really high today, but it was so worth the smiles on my grandchildrens face.

Julie.Shan: I don't think your's will show up in the galler because you put a space in your keyword. I always (yeah my 2nd time) copy and paste the keyword so I don't make a mistake. I have no idea if you can edit your gallery picture and fix the keyword, that will have to be answered by those with more knowledge than me.
Hi ladies. Wow some awesome paper angels coming in. Julie.Shan, you can edit your pic in your gallery and fix the keyword so there are no spaces. Also, keep in mind if you want to be entered into the drawing to become the recipient of the paper angel cards you need to attach a link here in the forum. If you need help with that please send one of us a pm. I am sure the others will help if they can. I am going to go check out your gallery so I can see your card. I want to leave love (comments) on all cards made for musical challenges.
I'd also like to apologize for not being out here at all yesterday. My 15 yr old cocker spaniel has been having issues. Yesterday out of nowhere her eyes became beet red and I do mean beet red and they kept rolling up into her head. This morning (turn away if you are eating) she vomitted bowels. The vet doesn't open until ten. I am so worried about her. She is my baby. She is always touching me. Like now she is laying on my foot. If anyone has dealt with this before please talk to me. I am so afraid the vet is going to tell me to put her down. I don't want her to suffer but I honestly don't know if I can do that. Wouldn't I be playing God??
I'm gonna have to be a pooh and not send out any of my cards this week. I've managed to catch whatever is going around here and don't want to pass it along to anyone. I hope you understand.

Well Ladies, I searched through ALL my stamps, and can you believe I don't have a SINGLE angel stamp! :( I think that's something I'll have to remedy shortly. ;)

Hello ladies, I would like to apologize for not beeing on much. My 15 yr old cocker, Lucy, had a stroke. She is now blind in the left eye. But the vet says she is not suffering. So...that is an awesome thing!!!! I myself am sufferring with the flu. So..I've been in bed wrapped in blankets and Lucy. However, I had to come on and post this week's abc challenge. So I thought I would stop in and say Hi. Huggs to all.
G'morning ladies. Well I was hoping to wake up and feel better, no go there. So..another day to spend in bed. I thought I would come on out here and let you all know I haven't forgotten about ya'll. I am just sick and need time to recoup. So please keep those paper angels coming. I will come back a little later to see any new uploads. Huggs to all.
G'morning everyone, well I do feel a little better this morning. I did wake up with a real bad headache. However, once that goes away I think I will be almost as good as I was before I got sick. I hope everyone is doing fine.
Just for today, New Year's Eve, you could get your name entered more than once without having to make another card. How? You ask. Well for every person you bring to play this week's challenge today only you will get your name entered into the drawing to become the recipient of the cards. (we have to come up with a name for this...ie. Teapotters Tuesday's Mothermark call hers destination station.) In other words if you bring 2 people today that make cards and upload them to the forum not only will their name get entered but you will get your name entered three times. Once for your card and twice for the 2 people. We truely need to help our musical family grow. Remember what you do with the cards is totally up to you. You can put them in your stash or you can choose where they should be sent. Last week Bev had them sent to Stephanie for the troops. But please do not feel you HAVE to send them out. If you are short on cards in your stash then by all means keep them. Good luck everyone!!!
Ladies, I would like to apologize for not having this weeks musical challenge posted yet. As you know, I myself have been sick and my poor Lucy dog is very sick. Between her and getting my daughter's room ready (she is moving back home tomorrow) things have just been so hectic. We also took the Christmas decore down. My world gets changed around so much when DH is home. Oh don't get me wrong I love when he is home. However, I am so used to planning my days for what I need to do, now I have to take into consideration what he wants to do too. I will post the new challenge tomorrow. I can't promise what time tho. We are suppose to go pick our daughter up, however she has failed to tell us what time. So..we wait for a phone call. Please say an extra prayer. I honestly do not think this girl is ready to change but man I hope I am wrong. If not, I am in for a duzy of a time. Anyways...I do apologize with all of my heart for not tending to my SCS duties today. I will definately make time tomorrow. In fact, I am going to explain to DH in the morning that on Wednesdays and Saturdays I MUST have me time. Again, I am so very sorry. I will also announce the winner of this weeks Paper Angels cards. I have shared with Steph for her husband and his buddies (and will again), but since I've never participated in a Canadian Soldier mailing, I'd like to send it to you for that purpose. Oh my gosh, I am so far behind...on all the challenges I usually do...don't know where my inspiration is this week...perhaps in bed, where I too, should be...but alas, I am too busy to stop and rest when I need to...

Dani, I hope you and your dear puppy are feeling better soon...goodness, it does seem like everyone is sick or not feeling well with something...I know mine is partly the blues over missing the hubby so terribly especially lately. ANyhow, all of you who are not feeling well I pray you feel better soon. ANd Dani, a special prayer goes out to you and your Lucy to feel better soon!
Hi Everyone, I am back. I hope. I feel better except for a sore throat. I am sorry for being gone so long. But between being sick and being depressed because of having to decide what to do with Lucy I just wasn't up to computer stuff. I have decided not to put Lucy down at this time. So the vet put her on meds to hopefully keep her comfortable during the dying process. If, in a week she is still showing signs of being uncomfortable then I will have to put her down. She yelps at times for no reason. Well I am sure there is a reason, but you know what I mean. Her eyes are deep red. She is completely blind in the left and the vet said he doesn't know how much she can see thru the right. She stinks something terrible. No matter how much bathing is done the stentch just wont go away. So...I have been pretty depressed about her. She has to be touching me constantly. So I find it hard to leave her side at all. I am hoping she will pass in her sleep and with no pain. With that said....I again apologize for being gone so long. However, I am back now. I will be playing catch up tomorrow. So please bare with me. I will then figure out which cards go to whom and also post this weeks song. I hope ya'll will still come back and play the musical challenge. We were just starting to have a blast and then I take sick uggg. Well we will just have to bring the fun right back. Hugggs to everyone. And please everyone let me know how you are doing.
