The rolling strike is in Montreal today.
I grounded myself to my stamping room. hehe...I was going to do some cleaning today. But after looking around it's just minor things that need to be done. So, I am taking the day off. Besides, I slept the stupid day away. I went back to bed after the grandies left for school and I went and laid back down. I slept til noon. Me, NOON.. omg I so never do that unless I am hurting or sick. I feel like I wasted the day. Ok, they need to just be glad they have jobs and get back to delivering the mail. Geesh. Don't they know they are holding you back from getting your happy mail?
I am finally getting back for the letter U. We had a BIG BIG BIG going away party for my son on Saturday. He'll be leaving in 9 days for Naval Basic Training. :( last week was a busy busy week to get everything ready. My daughter also left today, she came home from Miami (she's starting her 4th year of college) to send off her brother. We had a great time.

I won't eat cake from anywhere but my Mom's. Personally I think it's her frosting. She makes it from scratch and oh my it's so so good. My sister and I FINALLY convinced her to give us the recipe a couple of years ago, but whenever we make it, it just doesn't taste the same. So since we know Mom always has frosting "on hand" we raid the fridge whenever we go over there.. lol

Cricket, she says he's too young, however, she still finds him very attractive. She is 22. Right now she is talking about going into the trades and following her father's footsteps. However, we are trying on talking her into going to a Model Agency and get sponsered for modeling school. She is an absolutely beautiful girl. She has no self esteem tho and she doesn't see herself as the rest of the world. I blame her ex boyfriend. He was abusive and always talked down to her. Idiot!! I will have to find a picture of her and share it with you.
Yes, tomorrow will start the new Alphabet Challenge. I will remind you each week what letter we are on. The keyword will still be DDABC. And yes we will go in alpha order. So tomorrow's letter will be A. I will start a new thread for this, however, I will post a link here for you.
Oh FM that has to be so hard not getting mail. I wouldn't know what to do if my postman went on strike. Well ladies, today is the first day for the second round of our Alphabet Challenge. Remember we are staying in alpha order. I will be putting up a new thread sometime today. I still have to make my card. Then the rest of my day is going to be spent cleaning house. Yay!!! Ladies, Thank you so much for making round 1 of the Alphabet Challenge so much fun. I am enjoying being the host and getting to know each of you. I hope to see you continue onto round 2.
