This is a February birthday card for another cardmaking friend. My OLD/DUSTY stuff is: Perfect Polka Dots EF (retired years ago); K&Co. Butterfly stickers (purchased around 2010...I've used only one of the 58 stickers). My OLD but NEW item: Elizabeth Craft Rainy Day dies. I've had it about three years and finally open it to use!
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up, as well.
OLD items: Seasonal Layers leaf die-cuts from scrap box; DH's garage paper bag stash. OLD/NEW items: 2017 Wood Textures dsp...finally opened package and used my first sheets!
This card is for my oldest son's half-century birthday...yes the BIG 50! Here is my card: It's the BIG 50!

This is a belated "welcome to the world" card for my third granddaughter for her Grandma Keepsakes box. My OLD item(s): three circle punches purchased in 2012/ 2013. I used the scallop about 7 mos. ago, but the other two not for at least a year! I seem to use my circle dies more than the punches. My OLD/NEW item: SU--Welcome Easter stamps purchased in February 2020; Cottage Cutz Unicorn dies purchased in 2018. Both were just opened for the first time and finally used.
Here's another one using a digital stamp I've had for a couple of years and some felt flowers I've had for several years (unknown how long): blsr Frost-Tea by raduse at Splitcoaststampers
It was fun to find this thread. I had a long break from crafting so everything I make is using something from a stash. Somehow, too, it feels more creative to me to make it work with things I have. The MISTI is a grand exception to that. My stuff may not be the trendy stuff, but I tend not to run with trends anyway. New stuff is fun, but I am happy just using what I have. Plus, that way I don't feel guilty for having purchased it or having stored it for so long.
These cards were made with stuff in my stash. I had never used my Pearlex until recently and had never opened the pack of metallic blue paper.
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up, as well. This is a sympathy card for a SCS cardmaking friend whose Mom passed away in late February.
My OLD item: Flourish Thinlit die bought in 2016...not used since 2018. My OLD/NEW item: Best Birds stamps purchased in 2016. I finally opened the package and used it for the first time!
My "hang in there" card uses an image from a PIF image swap from years ago, a background I had stamped years ago and a leaf die I had never used (or at least hadn't used in years).
I used a very old embossing folder on this card. It is a Spellbinders M-Bossibility where you flip the sides to emboss the image. This folder is maybe 15 years old and I have barely used it. I rediscovered it while looking for a butterfly embossing folder.

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up, as well. This is another birthday card needed in March 2022 for an SCS friend.
I didn't use any DUSTY/OLD items, but instead used an OLD/NEW item: I final opened the Paper Pumpkin April 2021 - So Cool kit and used parts of the kit to make this card: envelope insides for stripe, a popsicle die-cut, and the sentiment stamp, which I modified.
I mad this card for a VSN challenge that also fits this challenge. I think I have had this sentiment stamp for 20 years. I don't think I have ever used it.
Thanks for Looking! I am slowly easing back into my craft room and hope to return to commenting soon. I know I have missed quite a lot of gorgeous creations.
It feels amazingly good to finally cut into DSP that has been in my stash forever and to ink up stamps that have been waiting patiently in my Rubber Room for far too long.
