HELLO and THANKS for looking if you have a minute. : ) I am so committed this summer to USING it... to avoid organizing it. hahah Had several nudges in the past few weeks to use this TYPEWRITER stamp i bought years ago, had to swipe the white film off of it to use it. Made a few versions and had FUN! able to use up other old supplies (dsp/linen thread, old S U stamp set growing dust) and that really made me happy. hope you are taking good care, Teresa
I'm really hitting my stride in using new and old purchases rather than letting them continue to age while I go off and buy even more things. My bank account thanks me.
Here are a few that I'm calling out. Check out my gallery for some additional ones using the same products.
Pulled out this Penny Black set I bought a few years ago but never inked up. Still haven't decided if they are chicks or penguins. I tried coloring both ways and, at least for today, I liked penguin much better.
Bringing out the leaves! The IC challenge ended up being perfect for this set. I also used this sentiment stamp which had never seen ink before. Now it might be on all of my cards. IC769 Thankful by mfb - at Splitcoaststampers
These card were completed from an old Christmas card kit purchased in early fall of 2019, plus the sentiment stamp purchased at about the same time and never used.

I added some metallic birds that were left over from a paper pumpkin kit. So, glad I was able to use them on this card. The stencil has also been discontinued from SU:
Julie, I cannot possibly tell you how much this thread means to me. It is such a good idea at any time, but in this pandemic and its associated economic impact, it is especially good to shop our stash and give some love to NBUS and long ignored stuff we already own. Thank you for starting this thread each year and for your encouraging comments throughout the year.
Here is my first USEIT2020 card for the new month. I can't even remember the last time I used this set, but came across it last night as I was looking for something to do with a background I had inked up over the weekend but ended up not using at that time.
I wasn't sure I would like the die without the part outside of the stamping being something other than white, but turns out, I like the look a lot.
I've been looking at this SCS challenge and decided I NEED to USE IT! Joining you all after a long year, and here's my card where I've used a Penny Black frame die set that I've had a long time and never used. Thanks, Julie, for starting this wonderful challenge. I need it! Hugs!
Oh my... how come I just found out about this challenge? Such a great challenge to encourage us to use "the forgotten supplies" on our projects 😉 Thanks JULIE!
