Keeping with my goal to make at least 1 card each month for this challenge, I'm back with a birthday card using a word die and MFT Stamp/Die set that has been collecting dust for far too long. Now that I inked some of the images up, I really want to use it to make a few more cards - these hippos are so stinkin' cute! (No wonder I just HAD to have them!)
Well I bought something new and used it for first time! I hadn't been to any craft store for a couple of months, with moving and everything. We are getting to know our new area, and when we went out for DH's birthday, we went to HL and TM. Yes, DH went with me! Anyway, I found this set of vacation thinlits from TH that were only 9.99 and usually 19.99! (at Tuesday Mornings) You know I had to get them for scrapbooking, and decided to try them out on a card!
Did a scrap page using a stamp I swear, I never new I had! I have never seen it! LOL
Also, used the flower border punch, and the house dies, that I am not sure when I ever used them! Our Home
My card is full of oldies from 2013: stamp set, patterned dsp, embossing folder, border punch, and ribbon. None have probably seen the light of day in at least three years! Fun to work with some oldies! Here is my card: Thinking of You, Friend!

Not made cards recently but have used my stash for scrapping. Happy day everyone

Wow, Ladies- such wonderful cards! I will have to visit the gallery later today (I am not receiving email notifications for some reason and had not seen some of these entries until now)...
Here are a few recent cards using digi images from Power Poppy (that I have never used yet or in ages) along with older SU! designer papers and embellishments
I went a bit crazy with my recently purchased Distress Oxides and my WiSH die (MFT). I made and posted several versions, but am just linking up this one to the challenge. I'm happy to say that I have all my remaining June and July birthday cards done and 2 more for my stash. That NEVER happens!
Hello ladies,
Long time no talk! I think I've been too caught up in new purchases recently which is why I was MIA, but the past Merry Monday challenge was calling for angel images and I didn't have a whole bunch, so I found myself reaching for a stamp set bought in 2005. I think that definitely qualifies for the USE IT challenge.
I have so many things in my old stash, almost every card can use "old" stuff! This card: My Son Celebrates His Second Father's Day!, uses all really old patterned papers, plus a brand new letter die set that's been lurking in my dies for over six months without cracking the cellophane!

Here is another Father's Day Eclipse Technique card...this one's for my husband. I used really old patterned DSPs from Basic Gray, Authentique, and Stampin' Up probably purchased somewhere between 2013 and 2015...only one had been cut into just a little! Next, my new, but rather dusty, item is the Top Dog "Wave Stitched" die purchased back in late 2015 or early 2016 when Top Dog was going out of business! My card: Hubby Celebrates Father's Day!

Hi Everyone! This card uses paper, lace, ribbon and a gold glitter pen that I have not used in ages (or ever) plus I have not used the images in a while either :-)
Here's a new one for me. . .all new products that have been hanging around for a while that I just cracked the cellophane on. . .NO OLDIES!: IO Graduation / Congrats die (had them for a couple of years!); Star Stencil (had for about three years); Glitter cardstocks (had over three years); Shimmer White Texture Paste (had since January).
Here's another of those new ones for me on my second graduation card! All new products that have been hanging around for a while that I just cracked the cellophane on to make these two cards. . .NO OLDIES!: IO Graduation / Congrats die (had them for a couple of years!); Star Stencil (had for about three years); Glitter cardstocks (had over three years); Shimmer White Texture Paste (had since January).
I need to have something holding my umbrella, and I had been wanting to use the Crazy Birds stamps and dies every since I bought them several years ago and just never have. . .though I LOVE them...out they came with my Small Space Needle die that I have never used. Also, both stencils are new and have been languishing in their packages. My used oldie, not touched for 2-1/2 years, is my CityScape die. Here is my card: A Birthday with Lots of Technique!

Today's card uses all old and retired Stampin' Up products that retired at the end of the 2013-2014 catalog, but I love them all! Here is my card: Losing A Loved One!

I used really old patriotic Authentique paper that I bought way back in 2013. If forgot how much I like it! I was able to give my card a vintage look with this paper, which I always love to do. My stars and postage stamp Spellbinders Nestabilities are also really old, but I'm not sure when I last used them. It may have as soon as last year. Here is my card: Sister-in-Law #2 Has a "Freedom" Birthday!

I used a very old stamp on these two (variations of the same theme). It was one of the first stamps I ever bought and probably haven't used it for about 4 or 5 years.
I used Holliday Collection framelits and some retired SU! paper and a scrap of old paper, and some twine that I had never even opened the package! I have had it for years! LOL
I have too much stuff!
All my patterned papers, recycled cork, and pinking shears are really old. My sentiment die-cut has never been used, but has been hanging around my die-cut stash for two or more years! Here is my card: Belated Birthday Wishes - Sister-in-Law #2!

My goal this year has been to use stuff up that has been collecting in my craft room. These leather flowers are the last of a large set of leather embellishments my mom gave me about 10 years ago. They took up a very large amount of room in a drawer and I am happy to reclaim that space.
