I am finally having a chance to play with some digital stamps that I purchased from Power Poppy! I love their images and they worked perfect with watercolor pencils (the printer ink did not bleed- what a surprise :-))
I've had the Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans collection for a few years, but I didn't really have any pictures to scrapbook with it. Now that my niece is getting a little older, I finally had some trick or treating pictures that were perfect to go with it. Those chipboard stickers are so cute, I was saving them for my album.
The first card uses Stampin' Up! You've Got This and Crazy About You (both have been neglected for a while, especially Crazy About You and the second card uses digital stamps from Poppy Power that I have owned for over a year and never used yet (finally have ink for my printer-lol!)
Sharon, I had a safe and wonderful trip (but a very long drive back home due to highway construction- bumper to bumper for 2 hours)!! Thanks for all of your prayers, sweet friend- hugs!!
Today's card was inspired by a April VSN challenge and includes quite a few old stash elements. The challenge was calling for pink + brown, so I went digging through my stash and found some really old Chocolate Chip and Vanilla papers from SU!, and some even older Making Memories papers (I'm sure those are a decade old). I paired them with some old pink square rhinestones I had, some Pretty in Pink corduroy brads and pleated satin ribbon. It felt good to use so many older supplies and to be happy with the resulting project!
While rummaging through my paper drawers, I found some old scraps that I decided I wanted to use again. They are from an old KI Memories collection. I remember initially scrapbooking pictures from a trip taken to New York in 2002 or 2003 with those papers, so they are definitely old. I find they aged well, though, so I create two cards with them (and you might see more down the road, as I still have scraps big enough to use):
Here is a card using several very neglected items- pink paper doily, stencil that has never been used yet, Papillon Potpourri and Tempting Turquoise cardstock :-)
Here is a LO using stash. I have this container of these clocks that have been in my stash for years and I have never used them. Also used some chip wood brackets. Just hoarding all this stuff! LOL
