Happy New Year!! I hope you will join me again this year pulling out and giving love to those "forgotten" stamps, dies and paper
We love seeing what you create with your unused paper crafting supplies, so please add the keyword USEIT2017 to your gallery post, and if you have time, link here in this forum as well so we can admire your artwork...
Thanks for joining in with us and we are looking forward to seeing your artwork in 2017- hugs!!
I have got to participate in using my unused stamps. I have so many really nice old retired SU stamps that just need to be loved. Thank you for starting the thread Julie.
We still haven't got the worst of the storm. Now they are saying tomorrow night early Sunday morning. I guess there are two storms. The big worry is the ice on the roads and on the trees. They are telling us stay off the roads, and have emergency stuff in case of power outages.
Here is a card using a stamp that had never been inked. I had used others in the set, but not this one. A for Alpha Crew

Hi Everyone! This card uses the SU! Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits along with Teeny Tiny Wishes (sentiment for Valentine's Day)- I have not used either in quite a while :-)
Hi Everyone! Here is a card using the long retired SU! French Script background along with Love Letter Ladies by Crafty Individuals (both have not seen ink in ages :-))
This is first time I have used these Merry Tag Framelits, I just got. I made them just look like circles and not tags, and used them on this Scrap page.
Hi again! This card uses the SNSS Leafy Flourish Background and More stamp set- I have owned this set for over a year and never inked it to a finished card yet....
So glad that you have joined us Ann! Love your sweet House Mouse card and between you and Misti, I am going to be enabled to buy some of those images for sure- lol!!
Also, I do not know if you participate in the Stamp to Spend Challenge (they are a very friendly and "chatty" group) but this card would be perfect for the S2S17C "Funny" Challenge - S2S17 Challenges by yellowrose46 at Splitcoaststampers
Hugs and I hope you have a blessed week, my friend!
What does "Stamp to Spend" mean? It always seems to be the other way round for me. I spend, and then eventually I stamp
I understand that the reason for this challenge is to "pay" yourself for things that you create- for ex: so much per card, blog post, etc. whatever way you wish to calculate your "payment" and then deduct what you spend from that tally.... I know that last year I did not buy nearly as much as normal since I had this in mind (plus I own more that my fair share already- lol!!).
I created a quick excel spreadsheet and tallied my cards for "income" and subtracted my expenses. It did help me be more mindful on my spending and in conjunction with the "USEIT" Challenge, try to use what I already own.
I ended up with+1300.00 at the end of the year- now this is not "real" money but at least I did end up in the "black"....
