Aloha ladies. Ok I'm lost!! Don't know how I got here. But maybe it's a calling for me to join in on the fun? So like where am I? And what am I suppose to be doing here with all of you? Looks and sounds like fun. Help!!

Welcome! Just read the first post on page one! Basically, we post cards or pages scrapped, using neglected stamps, or stamps for the first time. Julie Gearinger is our hostess. She might have something to add to that. Just include the keyword USEIT2016 in the keywords when you upload your projects!
We are trying to use stamps or items that we have gotten and never used! (Or haven't used in years!) I have a ton of them!
We look forward to seeing your projects! Be sure and link them here so we can see them!

Sharon - thanks for the help!! Yes, as Sharon noted, we are encouraging you to create with items. stamps, etc. that you have not inked up or used for a while.
If you could add the keyword USEIT2016 in your upload and also come back to this forum to link it, that would be great!!
Looking forward to seeing your creations- hugs and have a blessed week!
Hi Everyone!! Here is another quick Christmas card using a new stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and I paired it with retired SU! paper (Festive Prints DSP Stack) that I have not used in a long time (I need to use this up since I have several pads- lol!)
I found another stamp I had never inked, Extreme Dirt Bike. I'm surprised, since I really liked the "Extreme" stamps suite. I think it was the last one I got as a freebie at the end of Sale-A-Bration and didn't have time to ink before it retired. Better late than never, right? I also used eyelets from SU! I've had for years, and a Tim Holtz embossing folder that hasn't seen a whole lot of actions over the years.
I've also inked a Bella stamp I've had from my first Stamping Bella purchase during a trip to Toronto years ago. The company has released Bellas 2.0 lately - the same images reworked into a more modern look. To be honest, the new images just made me nostalgic for the old ones, so I was inspired to pull out the lattebella for this card. I'm also breathing new life into my Prismacolors.
Hi Everyone! I decided to use the very old retired Razzleberry Lemonade DSP from Stampin' Up! along with a sentiment from a Mama Elephant stamp set that has not seen ink in a while for this card (Pals Paper Arts Color challenge had the colors from the retired paper this week :-))
I was able to use a really old piece of DSP on this card (only a 2 1/4" square but I had not used this DSP Stack in years and have quite a bit "in stock" ) :-)
Hi Everyone! This card uses a Verve stamp set that I won for participating in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (they randomly choose a winner) and I have owned it mpw for several months and never inked it yet... I will be sending this card to a lady in our Mon eve Bible Study :-)
Here is a card using old ink, Orchid Opulence, and a set that I had never inked up: Lotus Blossom , and some peel offs (purchased years ago at a craft show). Orchid Opulence Oval
Here is another card using a neglected stamp and I opened a containger of Really Rust embossing powder for the first time. I think I have have had it for years and years! I have a whole drawer of SU! embossing powders I never use!!!! and have never been opened!!!
I dusted off some old single la carte stamps from Stampin' Up! plus patterned papers I hadn't used in a while to make cards. Bearing Gifts and Something for Christmas still remain favorites even though I've had them for a while.
I also pulled out the Carry On hostess set and a London stamp from Penny Black I had only inked once up to now. It was to package some goodies for a friend who's traveling to London with me, so those two stamps were perfect.
I started working on Halloween goodie bags, so I pulled out the spiderweb doilies and old Seasonal Sayings stamp set (another favorite that's endured through the years).
Where is our "love" button?? Love all of your cards Ladies!! Sharon, I still have all of those colored embossing powders as well and it has been over 10 years- some of them are not embossing the way they should since they are long over their shelf life, but I still try to use them :-)
Thanks again, ladies for sharing our passion for stamping and giving your older stamps, paper and accessories some "love" ...
Hi Everyone!! Hope you are all doing well :-) I love this time of year and designed this card using Acorny Thanks (SU!) along with Vintage Leaves for the new SUO158 "Thanks and Thanksgiving" Challenge.
I have not used either set in some time plus I did use the retired Bitty Banner Framelits to cut out the sentiment.
Hi Everyone!! I finally had a chance to design a card with one of my neglected stamp sets - lol!!
This card uses brand new DSP but the stamp set, Embellished Ornaments has not been inked in quite a while (not sure if I used it last year at Christmas or not...)...
I found an old DSP pack (Berry Bouquet) that was down to a few scraps, so I'm trying to finish it off. I also found some matching felt ornaments, so here are two cards that were created with those items (inspired by the Falliday Fest challenges):
I am back after a long hiatus. I have been playing with my Gelli Plate and acrylic paints and decided to make some cards with all the papers I printed. This card uses a Hero Arts stamp I have had for years and never used. I thought this background piece had an oriental feel to it. Oriental Doll Gelli Plate Play by gosh2fly - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
This Halloween treat wrapper uses some retired stamps and papers, but most importantly, the white waffle paper that has been gathering dust in my stash for years. I'm not sure what SU! wanted us to do with the stuff when it came out, but I've had the hardest time finding ideas on how to use it. There was 9 m of the stuff (5 yards) so it'll be a while before I use it all!
I crammed one more card out of the Berry Bouquet DSP I found, and used an old assorted ribbon as well, that's hard to use because all three colours (vanilla, real red, olive) have to match for it to work on a project:
Janet- wow, what a fabulous card with your Gelli Print! I love to Gelli Print and do not do it often enough :-)
Cindy- love both of your projects and I agree, that retired waffle paper has me puzzled as well (still have some when I purchased on clearance- what was I thinking!!?)- lol!!!
Thanks for the inspiration ladies- keep them coming!! Hugs and have a great week!
Hi Everyone!! Here is a card using images from Lovely As A Tree that I rarely ink up (it seems as though I always use the evergreen tree and row of trees in that set but the oak tree and oak leaves (along with the small pine do not get inked)...
Thanks for sharing your card with the rub-ons, Sharon! I need to pull mine out before they no longer transfer (I bought a bunch when they were on clearance thinking that I would do classes).
My pain level is still very high but I am managing (thanks for asking and your prayers) :-) Unfortunately, I cannot do as much as I would like around the house but thankfully, I can still stamp :-)
