September is National Scrapbooking Month.

I know we're a cardmaking thread but this month I want to throw you a bit of twist..... ready?

Am I the only one who thinks it's just CRAZY that we are approaching September already? Where has this month gone?

Aside from my birthday this month, my daughter turns 35. If that doesn't make you feel your age LOL

Anniversary's - 2

And I fear I'll need a sympathy card. My bff from high school is moving her mom to hospice this week. Mrs. Pope made the absolute best cabbage rolls. They were cabbage/ hamburger filling inside homemade dinner rolls. She made large pans of them when my dad passed away. I wish I could be near Karen to do them for her. Mrs. Pope was kind enough to share the family recipe with me for my recipe box that year.

What do you all need for this month?

Hi Kelly!! So sorry I have been absent for most of the summer. We are still trying to get some things taken care of with our home, etc...

I am so sorry to hear about your friend's mother. Sounds like she is a wonderful person- so glad that you have your memories and I am sure that Karen is thankful for your friendship.

For September I will need several birthday cards as well as a few sympathy for my stash- I have been pulling from my stash and am getting low.


I did have a moment to create a CAS card using a digi image that I watercolored, etc.

For September, I will need at least five birthday cards, as well as eight Thinking of You card...that a lot for me! But, I am uploading a card for a birthday that I needed right at the end of August...Zinnia Hugs for a Daughter!

September and October have been just nuts! I launched the first book in a new series on my birthday - September 26th. The eBook went live then and the print version 2 weeks later (because I missed a couple of things I needed to fix!) I won't start the second book in the series for a couple of weeks left. I'm taking some much needed time to craft.
