Hello and Welcome to the weekly Alphabet Challenge.
Whether you are a beginner or a pro when it comes to stamping and/or challenges you are going to love participating in the Alphabet Challenge. It's as easy at ABC. Come on in and check it out I am sure you will be addicted in no time.
Okay my fellow SCSers this is how it works: On Wednesday of each week I will post a weekly letter then I will challenge you to make a card (or some other type of stamping project; the choice is yours) using at least one item that begins with the current week's letter
For Example: Let's say the current week's letter is "G" You could make a card using "G"reen paper or you could use some "G"litter or stamp an image of a "G"orilla, whatever you think of it's your creation. You can use 1 item that begins with that week's letter or multiple items, the choice is yours.
Once you are finished making your card or project please make sure you upload it to your gallery and then post a link to it in the Alphabet Challenge thread. (If you need help please ask)
Each week there will be a "KEYWORD" please make sure to put the keyword in the space provided while uploading your card. This is how all of your cards or projects made for the Alphabet Challenge end up in the same gallery.
There you have it, by following these instructions you just finished the weekly Alphabet Challenge. It's as easy as ABC
The most important thing to remember is: HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
The first Week's letter will be posted above. We will be going in ABC order. So, week 1 will be the letter A, week 2 will be the letter B, week 3 the letter C and so on, If you have any questions please feel free to ask. And thank you for joining in the fun!!!
I will be posting a "Double Challenge" on certain weeks. Just a little something to get your mojo working. ;)

OMG, ladies first let me tell you thank you for being here. I have to share my excitement with you.... I remembered your names without looking. Yay!!! OK back to earth Dani lol. I am very grateful that you both are here. I am VERY excited to see your creations. Diane, thank you for sharing the correct way to do a keyword. Sometimes it takes someone to remind about things however once I am reminded I do remember it. So thank you. Do you know if it's too late for me to change it? Well ladies let's hope we get more scsers to join us. I have a gut feeling this is going to be a fun group of ladies with a ton of creativity to share and Kathy I am going to check back in a few minutes just because I am so excited to see what you have come up with. Oops sorry for the underline. Well ladies I think I will go play with all of these stamping supplies. We just finished decorating my stamping/Nail room and now I get to figure out how to use it all. I can't say that I'm great full for losing my memory however since I like to look at the positive side of things it does feel like I just received a bunch of new stuff to play with. Ladies just so you know, I did change the keyword to AlphaWk1A. It will remain the same except for the week and the letter. For example this coming Wednesday will be AlphaWk2B. Does that make sense?
G'mornin ladies. I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. Ron leaves out at noon then I will have the rest of the day to be creative. My plan is to finish my birthday board then make new clean/dirty dishwasher magnets. After that I hope to work on my card for Wednesday. My daughter came over yesterday and helped me clean my house from top to bottom. So now I have free time. What do you ladies have planned for today?
I go to the adult class. Our teacher is very grounded in the word and I love listening to him. He recently found out he has lymphoma, but it hasn't deterred him at all.

I wish we had a church closer to us. I miss the schooling. It sounds like your teacher is strong which is a great thing. What is his name? Id love to pray for him. My middle daughter and her husband finished college 2 years ago. Now she assists the preacher and my son in law is now the youth pastor. They live 2 and 1\2 hours away so going to the church is impossible for me to do.
Many of the churches here are closed today since we have icy roads that are covered even more with snow. I wonder about businesses and schools tomorrow - will they be closed or start late or be on normal times.

Our church did not cancel but said come at your own discretion. DH didn't get home from work until midnight and doesn't feel well so I guess we are staying home after all.
No snow here, so DH and I will be going to church. In fact s/b warmer here today, so may get to walk. It has been so cold lately we haven't been going out of the house, but supposed to be near 50 today. We'll see.

And I did get to church and Sunday School today. But then again, we live north of all the snow activity. We may get freezing rain during the night or in the morning.

Janet -We too have a bunch of snow. In fact it's still coming down. I will have to get busy and see if I can hire someone to plow my driveway. It looks like a happy winter day out there. I just wish it wasn't cold. Lol

Ladies, as you probably have noticed we have some new players amongst us, please say Hi to INA, LOIS & KITCATFOREVER. Can you believe that tomorrow will be our second letter? This first week went by so quickly. And ladies just so you know if you happen to miss a letter then you will need to send me all of the prior cards you made lolol I'm just kidding. We've had problems on some roads, even though we don't have as much snow as a lot of places. It got packed down as ice on roads in rural areas, the area I work in hasn't had schools open for the past 2 days due to some roads. And remember - we have many people in this area who are not sure how to drive in snow.
I am having a problem uploading my card - I've always been able to do it via our printer / computer, but we have a new one now and problems are happening. As soon as I can do the upload, I will.
