Weekly Challenges

I am curious about when others receive the challenges. It seems I get them a week behind in my emailed newsletter, and by the time I get them, there's completed cards with new challenge numbers already in the gallery. Do Demonstrators get them earlier? Or are they under threads in the forums before the newletter is distributed? Just curious, as I see there's something special for CC100, and I hope it's not based on a time limit for posting! I always feel behind...:confused:

You can always find the forum by clicking on 'forums' (upper right corner) and then clicking on Challenges on the next page.
You can also find the challenges by clicking on the links for each challenge on the home page....right hand side about halfway down.

At the time the newsletter is written, they pull the most current posting for each challenge, unfortunately, by the time the newsletter is emailed, either the challenge has been up for a few days or a new one has already been posted and the link in the newsletter is "old". It is just one of those publishing hazards

If you want to stay on top of the challenges, check out the listing on the bottom-right of the home page - it tells you what challenge is on what day (and there is a challenge every day of the week!).

No if I could only magically create myself some spare time as easily as I can create crads!!!!

Challenges are posted daily, and we run a little recap with links to the gallery and forum threads each Wednesday in the Weekly Inking. The only one that will be a week old when you receive your newsletter is the sketch challenge that is posted on the morning the newsletter's in your email box.

The rest of the challenges listed are current.

Just to add a bit - the daily challenge is usually posted fairly early in the morning (depending on your time zone!) and a couple of them are sometimes posted fairly late in the evening. If you make a card for the challenge, you can add a link for it in the thread for that challenge.

I would just add another word of thanks to all the great scs'ers who volunteer to do this challenge each week and also keep the lists of the challenge up to date.
