I'd like to also add my THANKS! I rarely stamp the sentiment inside the card anymore because it's usually crooked. I can always find one I need here. I then print it on 4x6 card stock, cut to size and I'm good to go!
Thanks ladies! There have been many people who contributed to the list and I am so happy that so many people use it for inspiration! It has proven invaluable to me.
I'm somehow stuck in this thread and cannot find the link to your excel spreadsheet that you refer to. Could you possibly tell me how to access it since I'm unable to do it. I can tell it's exactly what I want and I am frustrated that I can't get to it.

Go to the first post on page 1 - the download is there - and it's great!
At the top of this thread you will see the word "first" click on it and that will take you to the first page of this thread. In the very first post, you will see the excel file attachment. Let me know if you still have trouble.

I'm not sure if you have this yet...I'm putting it in my mum's 76th birthday card (she has a sense of humour)
Warning
When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit.
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

You would think with all the sentiments on the list, that I would have the right one for my son's baseball coach. Here are three I that I changed to fit the baseball cards I made.
We want to let you know how grateful we are for all the help you gave us throughout season!
From the tips of our cleats to the brims of our hats, we thank you for giving us a great season!
We appreciate all you have done for us this season. Thank you being being a great coach.
You've probably all thought of this already, but just in case you're wondering what sentiments to use for all the wonderful Angry Birds cards people are making, "A LITTLE BIRDIE TOLD ME" and "HAPPY BIRD-DAY" fit perfectly! ie Don't be ANGRY! Have a HAPPY Bird-day! or A little bird told me you're 6! Of course if the recipient is older, it could be an An ANGRY BIRD told me you're 60!
Cute, this would fit into a puns section too. thanks

I use this resource ALL the time so I'm glad that I finally have something to contribute! Here's a bunch of birthday sentiments.
Enjoy all the delights a birthday can bring and a year that will bring you the best of everything.
*
What is a birthday? Its not about presents or cards you receive, Its life special moments and what you believe. Its about looking forward to wishes come trueIts a day set aside just to celebrate you!
*
Your life was celebrated on the day you were born and every year you become dearer. Your birthday is just another opportunity to tell you how much you are loved. Have a very special birthday!
*
Its so much fun to be around someone who enjoys life the way you dosomeone who can find humour in almost any situation and who brings a smile to each day. I hope your birthday brings you the same happiness you always bring to others.
*
If one day every year could be wrapped up and kept forever, that day would be your birthday.
*
Since the day you were born, you have reached out with a smile that touches every heart.
*
Birthdays are only as special as the people who have themyours should be wonderful.
*
Wishing you a birthday that is as special as you are and a year that will bring you, all you are hoping for and dreaming of. With love on your birthday.
