The only thing I noticed that I do differently is, I generally mount the embossed piece on a coordinated color, before putting it on the base white.

Remember when SU had that old set with a strand of Christmas lights, and the bulbs were separate?? You could stamp that strand in black or green, then use bulbs in orange and blue and yellow....
