Polyshrink vs shrinky dink

Hello, does anyone know the difference between polyshrink and shrinky dink? Advantages / disadvantegs? or are they about the same?

Smooshing them down

You can easlily smear the bubble image if you are not careful - also you may need a 3rd hand (at least I would) - but it's worth a try.

Here's a technique I developed after seeing it in a craft magazine. They said to use 1/3 cup dye....way too much. So I experimented and came up with the following:
