With the packaging it says to rub the stamps with an eraser before stamping to get the factory oily stuff off and get the ink to stay on better

OK I have to say I have 5 different one's .... the "X", 250, 500 (I keep repositional in this one), 510 ( I keep permanent in this one), and the 850.
I use them all it just depends on the project....

The metal tags from SU are too thick to dry...

The metal tags from SU are too thick to dry emboss on. Other companies make softer metal to emboss on and you could make tags out of it.
