I use photo ink and the heat set with an emboss gun. I have never had a problem with smearing this way. :) I hope it helps. I went through a lot of trial and error to figure it out. LOL!

Just a tip for those asking about printer ink.
The ink in a photo printer works great with Copics. Just use a heat emboss
gun and you're set. :)
