I noticed on a lot of the recipe swaps I do that brads and eyelets with oven mitts & rollings pins were used.

How do I find them? I can't seem to find them at the craft store near me & ebay...

it could mean that your cleaning pad need to be cleaned. I find that if I haven't cleaned & rinsed my pad out in a while my stamps get dingy.

My stamps look almost new, I have never covered them...
