Scrappin' Challenge 2021 Can you believe this is our 13th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?!
We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2020 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2021! Let's keep scrappin'. It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2021! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops... What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process!
Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. *In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us. You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE?Come and Play in the 2021 Scrapbook Challenge!
Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends! We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc21sep

This year instead of "Challenges" we're going to have a new opportunity for Inspiration. It's called,
Working On It Wednesdays
Each Wednesday a Hostess will post an Inspiration Idea, Question, Discussion, Picture, Sketch, Link to a past Challenge, a new challenge ... just something that may inspire a page.
We will keep track of how many each of us participate in by doing a page/card from what's posted. Hopefully at the end of 2021, we'll have 52 more cards or scrap pages from our Wednesday happenings.
I'm hoping by keeping it more casual, we'll get others who are willing to help do a post for the week so it doesn't fall to the same people all the time? It should mix it up some.
All of the Wednesday Posts will be Listed here in our Thread so you don't have to go looking for it.
The Work On It Wednesday Posts will be in the following Post

September was a jam packed month at my house, but not for scrapping! I got ONE page done, putting me at 88 for the year. I am shooting for 12 for October and I have got to get the Christmas calendars started so that should help, haha.....
My daughter's basement bedroom has the basecoat of paint done as of this afternoon. So we need some color layers of paint, flooring, baseboards, and details like the light fixture and switch plates and things like that! Getting super close...! And then I get a craft room! hahaha....

I have a lot going on again this month...going to Florida & prepping for a SCS stamping event in early November that I'm helping organize. I think I'll make my goal 8 pages. Guess I'd getter get off here & get something started...LOL!
I am going for 7 pages this month. 5 from Oct and extra for the months I was not able to scrapbook.

Good morning!
I knew I had it in me, haha! I got my calendars started this weekend and got four pages done already. I may or may not upload those here. I also got this double page layout done for my son yesterday! Silly Jack
Glad to see you back too, Lou Ann and Carole!

Eeeekkk...it is already 5 days in!
I only finished 4/10 for my September goal and never did get them uploaded.
But, little by little, the YTD is growing and that is what really matters.
YTD 90/125 so I may just make that one yet!
10/06/41 is the day my Dad was born. He is celebrating his big 80th birthday, so I thought in honor of him I would post an idea for this week's challenge.
Challenge: Use Big Numbers on your layout. May be size, numerical value, Roman Numerals, etc
Hope everyone is doing well and finds some playtime this month!

How about a word play challenge this month? Sharon is better at coming up with these than I am, but here is a short word, so potentially could be easier.
FALL: Use something that represents the first letter of this word. Can be a physical something or just an inspiration kind of thing.
Haven't checked in for a while but here are my stats: only 2 layouts completed in September, so my YTD is 44 layouts. I'm setting my October goal at 10, and I already have two done, so hopefully I can get myself in gear and finish up the other 8 ASAP. Amy, fun Wednesday challenges. Going to see if I can play along!
I completed another layout and have one in the works, so I may just make my goal for October - woohoo! I wanted to do the FALL wordplay challenge on this one, but could not figure out how to incorporate the "F" element, so I am doing it on the layout I have in progress. Is anyone else scrapping? Not a lot of activity in the gallery this month. :(
I am here. I don’t know how long it has been since I scrapped. But have a big heritage album project to do for my sis for. Christmas. I hoe I don’t postpone till next year, someone help me, I am into junk journaling, and it has taken me hostage!
Okay, Sharon, time for an intervention! No more junk journaling until you've completed at least three layouts for your sister's album. Christmas is only 9 weeks away, so you need to get cracking if you want to finish this project. Scrapbooking is serious business, so no more playing around.
It's Wednesday, so here is a challenge for you all! Choose a row, column, or diagonal, and incorporate those elements into your layout. Happy scrapping! Gallery keyword is 102021.
I'm here and I'm scrapping! I had my SIL and niece in town for the weekend and we had some crop time together. It has been such a long time since I have scrapped with anyone else (outside of you ladies virtually) I was just down right giddy to have them here to play together. I have decided to do an album of my son and DIL wedding from last October of just their reception pictures for them for their first anniversary at the end of the month. They have a beautiful wedding album done by their photographer of the wedding itself, so I am limiting mine to the reception. Have about 3/4 of it finished and I just started last Friday night!! I haven't taken any pictures of these pages and since most of these are pictures you have all seen already from the album I did for myself at the beginning of the year I didn't think I would upload them all. But, I am doing the layouts differently so I guess you wouldn't care about seeing some of them again. So Cheryl and Tanya I'll get some pages photographed and make yours feel less lonely in this month's album.
AND to Sharon I just say DITTO to what Cheryl said! Do some vintage style stuff and add junk journal ephemera that you make to your heritage album then you can still play in the mode you are in and get going on your gift.
Thanks Lea for the Work it Wednesday idea this week. I'll see if I can use it on one of my next pages.

You guys are so fun. I haven't done much at all this month. I'm up to 6/24 calendar pages, but I haven't even selected all the photos for that yet. I could upload them tho..
My daughter just moved into her new bedroom. My husband is hoping to pull up the carpet from the "old" bedroom and lay down vinyl flooring this Saturday, which is the first step to making the room mine! So that's exciting. But I was sick a whole week and you know how the world kind of falls apart when Mom is out of commission, so there's a lot of catch up happening this week.

Ok here is a wedding reception album dump for all of you . I finished 34 pages in less than a week to finish this. Nothing like a self imposed crop and a deadline to get in gear! I am not uploading all of them, but here is a sampling. My pictures of these pages are not the best. They have a weird blue hue, but you get the idea anyway.
Wow, Amy, you got a lot done! Way to go. I finished a layout this week using the FALL word play challenge. Lots of fun figuring out what products to use for each letter.
Hi ladies. I’ve not scrapped in sooo long and can’t get to do it just yet as our home is upside down ready for the painters coming in next week. Just popping on to say hi and sending hugs.
