No plans here but then I never know what each day will bring. I have been spending time at the hospital every day with DH, he had been here for a week now. I don't know yet when he will go home.
I didn't even know it was a holiday. Thanks for the heads up, I won't watch for mail, or plan on mailing anything! I retired from banking, so I always knew then! LOL
My kids don’t have the day off school but my husband is off work. Guess I won’t be doing a lot of scrapbooking on Monday because he will want to spend time with me!
So sorry to hear about your DH in the hospital, Sharon, prayers for you and family. Love your latest uploads, too.
Just another work day for you, Michelle? Hope the weekend offers some scrappy time.
Sharon M - hope you find some scrappy time at least some of the non-working weekend.
What a sacrifice, Cheryl, having to give up scrappy time for you DH! Why not plant him in the craft room with you or give him some stamping or cutting tasks? ha ha

Every day is a holiday for us now we are retired lol but on Monday and this weekend we are still doing spring cleaning chores and Decluttering lol. Today we are focused on paper...not craft lol....we have to book accommodation for our trip next year otherwise hubby says we will have to postpone it until 2021 and I am trying to persuade him to go to the US then lol.
Sharon (Sewflake) sorry to hear that your hubby is in hospital..hugs.
Melissa, how come you have to work on a bank holiday? Bank holidays in the UK means everyone gets the day off lol.
Happy creating everyone...I’m creating pages in my mind lol.

Banking holiday and no mail. Not sure about school. This past week was fall break - it might have wrapped around and captured Columbus Day as well.
I don't "have" to work on Columbus Day, but it is not a paid holiday for us and it's the day before a income tax deadline. And WOW, it is later this month, due to how the month started. It is usually around the 8-11th. I remember the year it fell on my birthday back in the late 70's. That day, there was no school, no mail and no banking. A package was to have been delivered from Sears on my birthday that year...it didn't arrive. :( Ah, those days.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, if you can find them, maybe you can hire...
I think my mojo has returned as I'm feeling better. Here are a couple of layouts I finished this week. Hoping to scrap a little today before my daughter's soccer game at 1:30. I may even tackle Sharon's Inspiration Challenge!
I am at a gun show with DH for the weekend so no crafting other than the card I made super early yesterday morning. Some fun pages you all have been doing. I am going to try and get a bunch done at next week's crafting retreat since I will have 2 whole days (at least when I am not looking for an historical marker - lol).
Sharon, I hope your hubby is better! Keep us posted. Sending prayers.
Jayne, I so hope a trip to the U.S. wins and we can figure out how to meet in person! Would be fun if several of us could all meet up.

****** Getting Excited !!! ****** I leave Friday
I'm a "List Maker", my favorite part is crossing off the stuff that's done so this week has been awesome for that, haha!
On the list, SCS Thread for November .... I'm not going to be back until the 3rd, here it is:
Enjoy it all Lela. I’m excited for you. Keep safe.
I’m away from 31st October until 16th November so I will see you all after that. If I get chance I will pop on and say hi.
Happy Wednesday everyone.

I work in a hospital, so the only reason I knew it was a holiday was bc my son is a banker and got to tease me that he was off work! Ha!
I am off work today. I worked last weekend and have company for the next two weekends, so I am determined to get to my scrap room today. Lela, I actually put it on my list! I just wish it was the only thing on there! I’m at ZERO pages so far this month, so I hope there is a big pile of mojo ready for me when I enter my room.
I have made a few cards this month. I got asked to help out with design team samples for the Sketch Challenge for next 6 months, so don’t be surprised if you see some scrap layouts there. I guess I should ask to make sure that is allowed as a sample. Hmmmm?
Thanks for the challenges you guys post. Those are usually great jumping off points for me to kick it in gear.
Well...per above post. Mojo was buried under a lot of laundry, chores, and filth but I finally got time at the end of the day to make ONE page. So much for a nice uninterrupted afternoon scrapping?...Ha! More than I had done this morning though, right? But I did get some more pictures printed, so all was not lost.
And I used a Variety Challenge as my mojo meter starter.

I have this little package I found that is from SU that I’ve had for eons and never used called Magic Mesh. I don’t know why I bought it or what’s magic about it, but I’m gonna throw down my own challenge to use it. So I’m challenging myself to use that on an upcoming page. Anybody else have an item like that in your stash you could use as personal challenge? Some long lost thing you bought for something but no longer remember exactly why? Love to see what that might be for you and how you make it relevant today.
Amy, I just used Magic Mesh on my Blessed layout! And on the same layout, I used a bunch of paper leaves that came with a package of paper flowers I bought years ago. I had used lots of the flowers, but the leaves never seemed to work for me, so they sat in my stash until I busted a bunch of them out last week. I love using up stuff that's just been taking up space in my craft room, so I think I'm going to start the Stash Busters Challenge up again in January.
Amy, it would be fun to see scrap pages in the sketch challenge!

Cheryl...I love ALL the challenges and am very grateful for you and others who put them out there. I do have a special affinity to the Stashbuster. It’s like a double accomplishment to finish a page and use older stuff in the process.
Happy weekend everyone. Love the pages you ladies are creating.
Nancy we are going on a cruise from a Sydney to NZ for a couple of weeks. We haven’t been before so looking forward to it.
Have fun everyone

Hi All. It's been a long time since I've come here to visit. I've been getting the urge to start scrapping again so I've been reviewing some Jessica Sprague videos to try to remember how to open Photoshop Elements and work it...lol.
Amy, I hear you on the things you've forgotten about. I have magic mesh somewhere. I've been listening to Totally Tiffany's organizing series on Tuesdays in the hope I can root through all the stuff I've accumulated and actually start using it again. Made a card last weekend for a nephew's 3rd birthday party. First time I've done that in months!
Do any of you all still do digital scrapping? I don't see Wendy on here anymore.
This weekend I was unexpectedly productive. I decided to start my inlaws Christmas calendar and selected pictures for several months and got four pages completed!
Then, I finally put together something from last November. Some years we've recognized what we're thankful for, by writing on a die cut leaf and sticking it to the front door. Last year I decided to keep those leaves for scrapbook pages! I made pages for each book, altho I only uploaded one. They're the same, other than the individual leaves and what's on them.
Oh my Tanya..how your children have grown since I've been here last! And I had forgotten about your youngest! You have such an awesome family!
I was never into digital scrapping as I enjoy the tactical sensations although I spend so much time on the computer I would probably get more done if I did digital scrapping!!!
I use to take Wendy's digital progressive challenge and turn it into a traditional page!
I was absent from SCS for sometime, then when I returned Wendy was no longer here. I don't know why she left...or as with most we focus more on family life.
Wendy did check in last month, I think. Hi Terry! It has been too long! . Nice to see you! I always remember the pages we did of both of us scrapping for a .v.s.b.n Challenge.
Do you remember?
Hi Sharon. I remember those pages I think the first thing I'm going to try to work on is the album showcasing the transformation of our business so that I have an album at work to show customers. Hubby is always talking about it to customers and describing things so a book would help him out! It would have to be pretty simple without a lot of embellishments so it might be a good starting point to get back into digi scrapping.
I see you all are still busy living life and scrapping it all

Sharon, now that I went back and looked at the layout link you posted...I do remember Wendy dropping by. Her pages are still magnificent. Maybe some year she will return more regularly.
Terry, that book for your business sounds like a good place to start.
