Good Morning, off to another busy week but wishing I weren't so I could keep scrapping from all the iNSD Challenge ideas ... :rolleyes: To be honest Jayne, I was going to TX for work, figured out it worked with those dates and just rolled it in ... so it was good! Very fun time ... it was only US to US travel, I live in the states
After a fun wedding weekend, I can understand why it's a little anti-climatic. You've been planning for it and now that it's over, so many memories made of fun times ... Today is my 30th Wedding Anniversary so I'm feeling nostalgic

Happy Tuesday everyone.....what a gorgeous day we have had here today...it's as though spring has come back and the forecast for the rest of the week is mid-high 20s.
I played golf...no change that to...I walked our golf course LOL. My golf was crappy but I enjoyed the walk and my first time walking 18 holes. I was fine until the 14th hole when I got hit by a thick branch that whipped underneath my buggy and cut and bruised my shin...Clumsy should be my name LOL. Finally home and feel shattered after an early start and walk...I need to get back on the fitness treadmill.
I will post a couple of photos from the wedding...still waiting for more to come in.
Our travel agent has just phoned and so now we have to start thinking trips again....can't believe it's mid May already.

The group photo is me and hubby, eldest boy and DIL and youngest boy with one of our new DIL's bridesmaids who is from Sydney (originally London).

Hi, everyone! Just got back yesterday from Georgia! We saw our grandson graduate from Georgia Tech with highest honors. So thrilling for us. We were only in our new place a week before leaving. Still unpacking from moving! But I have my craft room put together. Still no crafting yet, though.

whew ... it's been a crazy week. Started off with opportunity to go to Basketball Playoff game Tuesday night (Cleveland vs Toronto, yay Cavs!) it was super fun. The next night we were in Milwaukee watching baseball - Brewers and Indians ... last night delayed travel home due to lightening ... but home ... until Monday! Yay for the weekend
Jayne, your wedding pictures are so awesome, esp the Poppets! Love, love, love ... and of course the Bride and Groom, how special! My BFF daughter getting married next year and her and I are both a little "wedding crazy" (according to Kels) right now .....hahaha! so fun!

Thanks everyone! The story behind the toes. A few years ago I was diagnosed with psoriasis of the hands and feet. It took almost a year for me to get it under control. To keep it under control I need to check my skin on a weekly basis... So I thought a fun way to get me to do it was to paint my toes a different colour each week in the warm months. So friends have suggested colours and the twin girls acroos the hall love it cause I give them a bottle of polish each week. A win win in my book!

Yes the poppets are the eldest boys kids...he's the one with the bald head...he has had alopecia since he was small and it comes and goes so he just shaves it off. Stacey, his wife, is the blonde haired one. The dark skinned girl was one of the bridesmaids and she kept hanging off the youngest arm and him her....her hubby was there so we thought it wasn't on but they were innocent and just having photos together. Yep the middle boy who got married.
You would all love our poppets...they come out with such cute statements...yes I'm biased. Emily called out...you can do it poppy when my hubby got up to make a speech. She's also a drama queen...after me I think :rolleyes:

Good morning, everyone. Good news: I have been scrapping!!! I actually have completed three layouts this month and have a fourth almost completed one on my desk. On the flip side, I haven't touched my guitar yet this month, so I guess I only have mental space for one of those things at a time. At any rate, I am enjoying the roll I am on, and will try to make time today to post in that gallery. Thanks for all your support with my venting and frustration last week. You are a great group of ladies!

Hi Everybody!
I am here... I didn't reach my April Goals, my excuse of being really busy has run-a-muck, so much that my hubby and I needed to get away from the Canyon on a long desired vacation with no business attached and he surprised me with a cruise to CUBA! it was wonderful. May I strongly suggest that anyone who likes to get-a-away.
GO CRUISE TO CUBA!
As far as my Goals for MAY, after laughing and ooing and awing through everyone's post here this month, I am inspired to not give up and try again.
Wow...a cruise to Cuba....can't wait to see your scrap pages. Cuba seems to be on the hot list of places to travel to this year.

Happy Sunday and happy Mother's Day and I'm celebrating all women today....thinking of those whose mums aren't with them, those whose kids aren't around or who have no kids...just all women.

I was spoilt today and feeling blessed.
Lela, I posted a note on a general thread where some ladies were enquiring about scrapbooking and invited them to join us. One lady is asking for links....I will give her the thread but in case you also wish to check it out. Hopefully we will get more ladies joining us.

Hi Lela & Sharon, is it possible to post a link back to our monthly challenges in the scrapbooking General forum thread?
I came across some posts asking where challenges could be found and if they could be posted on the forum thread too? I've posted this month's link and Melissa has posted her pocket challenge.....I'm trying hard to get more ladies to join us and there seems to be at least 3 different threads I've come across where there's ladies wanting to scrap. I know you ladies do such a lot of work on the challenges so I don't want to add to your workload.

Happy Wednesday ...is it? I feel I've lost some days..lol. Had such a busy 2 days but fun with the poppers and school run. I could never look after small kids again full time...wonder how I did it and I admire the young mums today.
As for craft and scrapping......I hope I can get back into it soon. Did some art in our journals yesterday and with the poppets.....my gesso and distress inks will never be the same again..lol.
I've been working in my sewing area for the past several days. Got 4 quilt tops done for a group of ladies I know to layer and tie. I've been sorting and organizing my fabric stash, pitching what I can, giving some large pieces that I'll never use to the Women's Thrift enter. Bought some Sterilite containers and have the quilting fabrics in order by color on the shelf.
As for scrapping, haven't done any.
DD and I are joining a group of ladies, some we know, at a crop on Saturday in Orlando. I'm taking by bins of scrap papers, dies and minimal embellishments in hopes of making lots of cards. Sorting those papers will be a help, too, to be more likely to use some on my layouts when I get back. When I've gone to gatherings away from home I've never had good luck with actually completing layouts. It just hasn't been practical for me to take what I need to complete a page, end up doing more than half after I get home.
Off to finish up some sewing for Tiny Tot.
