Can you believe this is our 8th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2015 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2016! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2015! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2015 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc16may"

Hey, y'all. I managed to get 8 pages done last month but my goal for May will only be 4...I have (yet another) baby book I'm working on, and I tried to alternate between it and working on my own books but that's just not working for me and I need to get that sucker done. So I'll just finish up a couple pages for my own books and then get back in the salt mines of baby books :p
Hi all. Life is still in the way of sitting down and scrapping. Thought I'd at least check in before heading off to bed. I was hoping to check out the challenges this weekend (and might be able to if it rains) but DGS has a baseball tournament all weekend starting Friday night. We are still working on bathrooms and offices at our new location. The machinery has all been moved into the building but none of the offices yet. We had Verizon scheduled to come in on April 1st to hook up phones, fax and internet but April's Fools! They rescheduled 3 times before finally showing up on April 11 and then they never finished the install and then went on strike the next day. So we have never gotten the fax to work nor internet since it uses the fax line; therefore we can't move into the offices even if they were done as we couldn't communicate with our customers! They are STILL on strike and after 4-5 hours on the phone trying to get things resolved, we've finally contacted Comcast who is going to dig lines to our building and do an install. Hopefully by the end of May, both offices and communications will be done..keeping fingers crossed!
My stepmother, whom you may remember I tried to reconcile with in December but whom made it real clear that she wanted nothing to do with me finally passed in April. I've been trying to help out my brother with whatever I can and they have a memorial service being scheduled next week for friends and family..in the meantime, my DD located my biological mother and siblings so I've been debating about whether or not I should try to make contact. My mother is 76 years old so I certainly don't want to possibly cause any distress to her but DD wants to know "medical" family history so she's been pushing to make contact now that we know where she is. It's been over 40 years since I've seen or spoken with my mother and with the way my stepmother was, I won't ever know if my mother tried to make contact with me after my dad passed away.
So many decisions to make. I can never say that my life is boring...that's for sure! The saying, "God closes a door and opens a window" certainly seems to fit in my life at the moment!
If I get the chance, I'll try to check in over the weekend! Looking forward to the challenges....
Wow, Terry, there is a lot going on in your life! It's amazing that we on this thread become close enough to share things like this even though, in most cases, we've never met in real life, KWIM? Hope the phone line finally gets installed and that you can make a good decision re: your bio family.
Got 6 layouts done in April and am hoping for 10 this month. YTD is 21. Today I'm working on the sketch challenge (to be posted tomorrow) and a layout to go with it!
Back home this morning.
I have to get settled. My grandson-in-law will head out this weekend for his school, leaving my DGD and two kids here for the month.
Working on getting photos ordered so I can scrap this new baby.
YTD=3
May=10 (I hope)

So yesterday I sat down to work with the sketch I had created for May, and I decided I hated it! I scrapped it (as in "got rid of it," not as in "used it to create a layout" - LOL) and came up with a new one, so please visit and play along. Hope everyone is having fun on National Scrapbook Day!
I got a page done using the sketch I posted today, and I hope to get a couple of the VSBN challenges done tomorrow. Since it's Mother's Day, this mom's request is for her kids to leave her alone so she can scrapbook!
Hello Ladies!
Sorry I've been MIP for this month...been super busy moving both girls home and getting prepared for my scuba class! I've uploaded the requirements only for the Stashbuster Challenge. The layout is on my desk and I'm working to finish it. So, I'll upload it as soon as possible.
Thanks for understanding! Miss you all and doing the challenges! Hopefully, things will settle down next week and I'll get a chance to complete some pages this month!
I've got a few layouts done, but I still need to take some photos. Need to get to work on all the challenges and VSBN. I'm running low on mojo, though. :/

Hello! I just wanted to check in...!
Today marks the half way point of the pregnancy, and we find out if it will be boy or girl in just under two weeks. So far so good on that front, which is definitely happy. Baby is due Oct 1.
We listed our townhouse on Friday, April 29th and had it under contract Saturday May 7! (the market is crazy-hot here, right now) Most of our things are in two storage units, some things have moved to my parents, and we're living with the bare minimum, until we move out the week of June 6th!
We'll live with my parents til our house is done (we decided to build, with a developer) which will be sometime after Thanksgiving!!! YIKES! haha......
So of course between my kids we have/had five major school projects due since Wednesday.... HA!
I'm still working 3 days a week and busy with all of the end of year activities and programs, and packing up things here and there and keeping the place clean...first for showings, now for the inspection...!
I have made a few cards for a customer who is basically holding a class thru me, which helps keep my blog alive. My SU! demo preorder arrived, but I have yet to play with any of that...!
Lots and lots of things, but all good, and I know I will get to stamp some day again... ;) One of my husband's priorities was a craft room in the new house, <3 altho that will be on hold for a few months til we start working on the unfinished basement and get my son a room, haha.... always something...!!!

Wow, Tanya! A lot sure is going in your life, right now! Thanks for keeping us up to date. Be sure and stop in again when you find out if it is a boy or girl. . Congrats on new baby coming and new house being built, and new craft room in the future! What wonderful things going on in your life!
How is everyone this lovely Monday morning? Any scrap plans this week, or is everyone busy actually having a life - LOL?! I managed to get two VSBN challenges done this weekend, and hope to get another layout scrapped today after I volunteer in my daughter's classroom. If you haven't checked out the VSBN challenges, you should do so. They are really fun! Here are my 2 VSBN layouts:
Well, Cheryl, I do have plans to scrap a page from VSBN soon, pulled out some papers to go with a photo last night. Last minute plan was to go to the zoo with Tiny Tot this morning since we are expecting rain and thunder storms the rest of the week. Enjoyed our day with her at the zoo. Came home to my advanced copy of Take Ten, to be on newsstands June 1st, I have 3 cards in it!

Congrats on being published! I'm not familiar with Take Ten, so I'll have to check it out.
