Scrappin' Challenge 2022 Can you believe this is our 14th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?!
We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2021 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2022! Let's keep scrappin'. It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2022! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops... What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process!
Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of us who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. *In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us. You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages.... you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2022 Scrapbook Challenge!
Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends! We'd love to "oohh" and "ahh" so please use Key Word SBC22JUN
As our leader, Lela hasn't checked in, I will start June's forum. Please keep her in your prayers as we are concerned how she is.

This is where we'll keep track of our Monthly "goal" - if you have one - and track YTD pages. It's always a great time to keep count and see what we've accomplished by year end!

Good luck on your garage sale. I keep putting stamps and other supplies downstairs for a future craft garage sale in October at our local craft store. Trouble is, I keep going down and dragging something back up again! LOL
i am a hostess for DTGD so I have been working on that, and VSN starts tomorrow night and there are sneak peeks up today already for those that are fan club members. But I haven’t done any crafting today. I am thinking of going to the craft-room to work on my color challenge page, tonight.

That's funny you've taken things out because as I was pricing I did the same thing! LOL!! I hope the sales for both of us go well!!
WOW! You are busy. I'm a fan club member but don't think I use SCS to my full benefit. I'm also hostess for a SCS Shoebox event in November that we've started working on. I need to work on the color challenge too.
Ladies, I have tried calling Lela and left voice message but she hasn't called back. As Sharon suggested, lets keep Lela in our prayers, although we do not know what may be going on in her world, our Lord does. All we can do is pray for the best for her.
I haven't been on line much lately. I had been scrapping a lot in May. A few days ago I started a table runner and am just about ready to finish adding the binding. Then, I will select and cut the fabrics for four place mats. I also made a piece of lighthouse fabric I had in my stash into a table cloth. My runner and place mats are done in red, white and blues. Trying to get it all done for the Fourth.
Sharon, thanks for putting this together and taking charge. I know how busy you are with all the challenges here! Your color challenge is inspiring, and when I can I'm going to make a page.
I had been thinking about starting the Inspiration challenge again. Perhaps for July now, what do you think? Would anyone be tempted to take up an "inspiration" challenge?

Waving
I have not fallen off the edge of the world but the edge seems to be getting closer and closer.
I have been busy with several groups both virtual and IRL, as I have taken up quilting again after a 20 years hiatus. Wow, that keeps me busy along with card making and scrapping!!
scrapping seems to have taken a back seat to other quilts projects that I am trying to finish so my kids don’t have to deal with it when I’m gone...not that I plan on going anywhere anytime soon but it’s going to take me the next 15 years to finish up all the paper/scrapping stash and quilt fabric I have on hand not to mention all of the quilts in progress from over 20 years ago that I need to finish.
a Daunting task.
I just completed 1 layout and 4 cards yesterday and today.
I will have to take the time to get them in my gallery so I can share them here if I remember how LOL.
I set a goal for 15 for June, and I've gotten 11 done. I will try to upload some later tonight. Still working on our Disney trip, lol. Altho with it being summer, there are a lot of other events begging my scrappy attention... ;) Not to mention living it, haha.
Hope all is well with you all, and thank you Sharon for keeping this going! Really hope Lela is okay!

Good luck Arertl. I am glad you checked in!
thanks Tanya, Sharon, and Joyce Ann for checking in. And an Inspiration challenge would be great, Joyce Ann!
I completed 42 YTD, and my June goal is 5. Would have made it higher but I am leaving on vacation tomorrow and have only managed to eke out three layouts so far this month, By the time I get back, there will only be a few days left, but hopefully I can finish up the other two layouts. Hope everyone else is having a more productive month. I'm signing off and heading to bed, since we have to leave for the airport at 5am tomorrow!
Morning ladies, you are all amazing doing so many pages, I have five to upload but my adobe keeps saying there’s an error after I’ve resized the photos, I can’t give a goal as I only dip in and out with scraping when the mood takes me, so I hope that’s ok, plus we have all the family arriving in five weeks so busy getting the jobs finished.
we just found the American flag we bought years ago when our GS came for the first time, he’s thirteen now, we are going to hang it in the garden for when our GSs arrive haha
Well, I don't understand what is going on, but I uploaded five new pages last night about 11pm MDT. They were approved about 9am this morning, but when I click on my keywords, it takes me to the various galleries (ie: "sbc22jun") but it doesn't show my new uploads in any of the galleries too....? Sooo here are the direct links to my newest pages, plus one that I didn't link up from May.
I have my goal set for 8, but my big goal for June is to finish the baby book I am making for my niece. Her shower is mid August, I don’t want to wait that long. I started it and have ideas of what to do next.

Continued prayers for Lela.
Thank you Sharon for putting this together.
May: I finished 13 with YTD goal at 54/125.
June goal is 10. I have several started working on lake trips from last summer. Many are simple collage style pages with just DP in the background, so I probably won't upload those.
Sharon, I am glad you mentioned VSN I seem to keep missing the different events SPS offers lately since I have been more in and out lately instead of so regularly uploading things I am crafting. I will attempt to upload some things this weekend.
I have the best paper for the this month's color challenge but not all the photos! I probably won't get them until later this month or even in July but I'll definitely use it.
I haven't crafted yet this weekend. I worked all day yesterday. I am working on putting stuff away from a craft day with my friends last weekend. We used to do once a month, but now we are at every other or every 3 months. I don't get much done when they are here.

I have had a nice productive weekend in my playground. I got several cards finished for VSN, some art journal collage pages, and several scrapbook pages. Whoo-whoo!
Here are a few of my favs that I uploaded. The last one listed is a scrap lift of Lea since she has been on my mind I thought I'd honor her work with a lift. Call it an impromptu challenge!
Hello! I am here, busy month at home; daughter bday and dance recital, son soccer semifinals and finals. My goal is 4 pages for June. I have completed 80 cards for my daughter’s teachers presents (no pictures). A pink fresh studio class with 15 cards. Maybe won’t meet my June and July goal, but I have been stitching pages and fuzzy cutting, so maybe catch up in August or September. Son going to Colorado for Soccer National Event in July plus his Bday. We will be extremely busy this summer. Like I said May, June and July is too busy, but happy. Hope you all have a great summer and I will try to catch up here with you!

I went ahead and inserted the challenge that Amy aka Shirley’s Girl suggested to Scraplift Lela. The link to her gallery is there, too. All in post # 3. Joyce Ann, what about the inspiration challenge? You want to pm me and I will put it in, too?
Pia, I saw that you got a lot done in May! Congratulations on all that you got done! You are an inspiration to us all!
thank you! I was so happy to be scrapping. I’m not getting as much done this month. I was stuck on where to go with the gift baby book, but I think I figured it out.

Who is scrapping this week? I have photos printed, but have been busy finishing VSN and now making bookmarks for my Bible study group! But soon! I have 4 more pages to do to reach June’s goal!
Sharon,
I am working on my gift album. I am moving right along. The first pages are regular baby pages. Then I did a page for each month. Next I’m doing first holidays. This will be a big book. My niece is also our godchild.

Those all sound good. I remember 1st plane ride. Our little grandson came with his mother to see us and she did that layout, or first outing. First snow..but yours sound good. I look forward to seeing your album. So cool you are doing it.

I'm doing a garage sale this week then going away for the weekend. I've gotten rid of a lot of things so I'm feeling happy. I received some photos in the mail today so I'm going to set aside time starting Monday to scrap! I'm so far behind on my goal.
I uploaded a bunch of pages to my gallery. I will link a few favorites here once they are ready. I am still working on my niece's book. Hope to finish today!
