Can you believe this is our 8th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2015 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2016! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2016! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2015 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc16jun"

I reached my May goal, surprisingly. Now that school is out, I won't have as much time for scrappin as I will have to be watching the kids swim in our pool at the same time. Thank goodness they are all good swimmers, but I still feel the need to keep an eye on them.
Thankfully, DD is signed up for a flight academy class for a week this month, so I hope to reach my goal during that week.
June goal: 6 and that will put me over my yearly goal!!

Does anyone know where the other Sharon, snowflake, is or Wendy? Miss them!
I miss lots of our scrappy friends whose lives have given them other paths at this time .... I do know that Sharon (snowflake) sometimes plays along at sb.com, I'll see if she's playing along. She may be "summer" busy ...
I miss Wendy too

I WISH I was scrapping!! I was literally aching to scrap the other day, but that is not going to happen for a bit still. I haven't even thought about the gallery...!
Today I have three friends coming to help finish getting my house packed. We plan to be out Monday, but my husband and son (the muscle of the house, because I'm not lifting while I'm preg) are on a scout campout from yesterday til Saturday afternoon. Obviously my husband was not in charge of scheduling this one, haha....
The whole reason for my post is that last week we found out the baby is a GIRL!!! We're naming her Cordelia Anna and we'll call her Cordy. Funny enough, my daughter and her bff were having a little photo shoot together before our move so they can have a picture of each other ;) and my friend turned the camera on me, which then turned into pictures like this,
which were perfect to add to facebook the next day saying the pic was of "all three girls"! We're super excited!

Congratulations, Tanya! Pretty name, it makes me think of Anne of Green Gables because Anne loooooved the name Cordelia. When she and her bestie Diana grew up, Diana had a baby girl she named Small Anne Cordelia
I have four more layouts to finish in my current baby book and hope to have a few months off before I start the next one, because I usually wait to find out if it'll be a boy or girl before I start. So anyway, hoping to get back to my own personal scrappin' after maybe a week or so? I'm at 65 pages for the year so far, so my June goal will be 6 (and hopefully I'll go way beyond that).

Hi Everyone,
So... sometimes a girl just has to do what a girl has to do, and this past two months I have been trying to keep my head above water with my new job, my family and my church calling as Relief Society President. We have had a death in the family (My best friend lost her youngest son to a seizure) which has been very hard for me to adjust to and a mini vacation to Hawaii again.
i feel so blessed and yet I am feeling craft deprived! So I am back, if you all will have me and my goal for this month is 10!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like everyone is either busy or planning to get busier soon! I have to complete 16 more layouts for my ABC album, so I just popped in to update my monthly goal to 20. Yikes, I must be crazy!
Got my first two layout done! Hopefully I can do four every day for the next four days and get this ABC album completed before school ends. I think I can, I think I can . . .
Where is everyone? Now, the ones having babies are busy , I know. But where are the rest of you? Okay, some of you have jobs and some of you are caring for children and grandchildren, or running a business (thinking of Terry). Am I the only retired one with no grandkids here, and with lots of free time?
I'm HERE  I've got 9 pages done so far for this month but now I am going to "switch" to cards because I'm headed to the CTMH Convention next week so I want a few cards to swap. There are some amazing card designers who will be there and I always want to see what they come up with
I just booked July Vacation Time with my GF so Summer already seems busy

It seems like it's been ages since I scrapped! I realized late last night that it was technically the second Thursday and I haven't had a chance to scrap anything !! I'm taking my open water certification this weekend and on top of that I started a new job! I'm the new member care specialist at the YMCA! On top of that we've done a few road trips! I have to run but I'll try to pop in later!
Oh, nice, Lela, you will be in my area! Have a great time, hope the rains let up and give you some nice afternoons. If not, there are likely plenty of fun activities for you inside.

I was wondering the same thing. Just went to check the VSBN forum and there are no challenges posted. Maybe that's the challenge - create your own VSBN challenge and post it! LOL!

Hi. wish I could be retired! Just dropping in to say a quick hello and give an update before heading out to the new building.
I've been spending the last 2-3 weeks (60-70 hours per week) at work trying to do painting so we could finish our offices. Good news is that the property management company found someone to take over the last 14 months of our lease and they want to move in ASAP. Comcast finished their install of our phone/fax/internet on Tuesday so we lost that access at our old facility. Wednesday and Thursday was spent moving all the offices to the new location and this weekend I am once again painting so that we can actually move the furniture into the office spaces and get set up to operate again. I am SO exhausted all the time. Can't wait for this to get over! There is still so much "finish" work to be done and it seems to take forever. Once that is done, we'll have to focus on the outside of the building and the grounds before fall comes.
DGS is still in the middle of baseball tournaments and games and practices. We are supposed to go on vacation to Washington DC the first week of August. So looking forward to that! I am so envious of a slow lifestyle right now ;)
Good for you Patti to have completed so many pages. Terry, you must be exhausted with all that painting and moving and making it to the tournaments and practices. I'm not feeling all that productive in any aspect.
But I did do a page for the scraplift challenge. SCRAP16jun Hello Sunshine by AnniePanda - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I am hoping to get back to scrapping for myself by the end of this week. I have three pages left to do for my friend's baby book and then I'm taking a break from those for at least a few months!!! I'm kinda burned out on doing them. The one I'm working on right now is #17!
I've gotten a few pages done, but waiting for a sunny day to take photos. Tropical storm Colin made it very rainy for a week or so. Hope to get around to the challenges that were posted.
Did I miss this months mini-VSBN?

Liz, I have a bunch of layouts to post, too, but I can't blame the weather. Nothing but blue skies here in Southern California. I don't think you missed VSBN; I think it missed us! I kept checking but nothing ever got posted, so maybe Lela wasn't able to find a hostess. We can keep hoping, though.
Hi Lela ... I've been MIA for way too long (I think the last time I posted was in 2014)! Would love to join back in the monthly challenges so if that is possible my goal for June would be 6 pages (already have 4 I made over the last week). Thanks!

Hi Everyone!
Im really sorry I havent kept up with posting the Stashbuster Challenges, Ive been SUPER busy with my new job, traveling and getting my open water certification for scuba diving.
My new job is a lot of fun I work at the YMCA as a Member Care Specialist and have met a lot of really nice people. Kinda nice I get to wear casual clothing to work too! My girls are home for the summer and we all have different work hours so finding time together has been a challenge.
Im happy to say I completed my Open Water Certification! It was a lot of fun, both my trainer and husband were really complimentary of my diving skills (considering Ive only been underwater 3 times)! I'm excited to go on a diving vacation now. We have one planned, but it won't be until the end of August. We are hoping to get in some shorter dives before then.
We always seem to be on the go, so I'm not setting any goals this month. We are heading out again next week and the week after is going to be a work week (my hours are all over the place). I hope everyone else having a good summer!
