Scrappin' Challenge 2021 Can you believe this is our 13th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?!
We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2020 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2021! Let's keep scrappin'. It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages,goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2021! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops... What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. *In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us. You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE?Come and Play in the 2021 Scrapbook Challenge!

This year instead of "Challenges" we're going to have a new opportunity for Inspiration. It's called,
Working On It Wednesdays
Each Wednesday a Hostess will post an Inspiration Idea, Question, Discussion, Picture, Sketch, Link to a past Challenge, a new challenge ... just something that may inspire a page.
We will keep track of how many each of us participate in by doing a page/card from what's posted. Hopefully at the end of 2021, we'll have 52 more cards or scrap pages from our Wednesday happenings.
I'm hoping by keeping it more casual, we'll get others who are willing to help do a post for the week so it doesn't fall to the same people all the time? It should mix it up some.
All of the Wednesday Posts will be Listed here in our Thread so you don't have to go looking for it.

I don’t know where June went and here we are in July. This month looks as though it’s going to be a busy one. Hopefully I will find time to scrap but I don’t think my chances are good for a while. Happy scrapping everyone.

For June, I got 10/12 and that was okay with me. For July I've set a goal of 10 and already got three done! Whoohoo! That puts me to 67/120 for the year.

So AWESOME! My BFF and I went to a crop (very last minute) this weekend! It was really productive for me, I got 38 pages done. A couple need titles but for the most part, embellished and done! It seemed like the Inspiration was flowing .... I think I got all the VSNB done .
I'll be back to work tomorrow but hope I can keep it going this week ... It feels good to have the MOJO back

Lela, so glad to hear you’re scrapping! I haven’t had much mojo lately and now we’re on vacation, but hopefully I will be refreshed and inspired when I get back home. Also trying to think of a challenge for Wednesday the 21st. Hope everyone is doing well.

Nice job this weekend, Lela!! I keep wanting to scrap but by the time I can, I'm too tired to think. Today I'm making birthday cards because I already missed my niece's and we have a bunch of birthdays coming up.

Thank you very much Jayney and Sharon! I am looking forward to this fun time and plan to live in the dirt joyfully for my time there. I will be adding scrap pages to my Dirt Pile pieces for sure!
I do hope everyone will try to join in during DTGD week in August. It is fun to have a behind the scenes sneak peek at what is coming and I see quite a few challenges that will compliment scrap pages very easily, including some hosted by both Sharon and Jayney! Can we just plan for the Work It Wednesday 081121 to be to use any of the challenges that will be available then?
I will be leaving to go to the lake tomorrow until the 25th as we are hosting my hubs family on our yearly vacation there. So, I told myself I could not leave until I did at least one scrap page since I hadn't done any this month. I didn't want Tanya's pages to get lonely in the gallery. Ha! So I got 3 finished for some of the Wednesday challenges that I had missed. One for Cheryl's school challenge and Jayney's blue or purple and last for my MOJO challenge I just listed tonight. So, not sure if I will get any more finished for the month, but 3 is better than zero! Hope you all can find some time to get inky!
It is a "blessing" when the MOJO is working but vacation is fun too! I'm back to "normal" work traveling so lots of business trips the next few weeks ... I actually think it's inspiring me to use my time at home more creatively? I don't know? It's interesting to me how MOJO works
I'm going to WOW this weekend.

I haven't had any mojo for a while but, while on vacation, I started to get the itch! Came back and found photos of my niece's birth announcement as I was cleaning my scraproom, so I got to work creating a layout for them. Played along with Amy's Working on It Wednesday challenge for MOJO. I haven't set a scrapbooking goal for this month, so I am just taking it one day and one layout at a time. Maybe next month . . .
It's Wednesday and I promised Jayne I would do a challenge, so here it is: Since I just got back from vacation, I have luggage tags on my mind, so add two or more tags to your layout. Keyword in the gallery is 072121. Here's my layout with four tags:

Today I got a layout done for the VSBN A challenge to use the word LIGHTS. It is of my daughter's 15th birthday, which was in the middle of everything being shut down last year.
I don't know about you guys, but I WAY overthink these word challenges, haha, and I end up only able to think of really big words that each letter starts with, and nothing to do with crafting! I typed up a list to hang in my stamp cabinet to help. LOL!

Cheryl, Dare To Get Dirty, a week of challenges every year inAugust for the Fan Club members, with great prizes! The Dirty Dozen, past and present host the challenges. For a whole week there are issued about 6 to 7 challenges every morning. Then, you have another week to get them done. There are prizes for those that do them all, it also for those that do one or more. So, be sure and hav your Fan Club subscription up to date! Other perks of Fan Club is you can upload on Sundays.

Tanya I always have problems with WORD challenges and can never think of things. When I joined the alpha’s we got a list of words for the alphabet. I have to look at that every time I do a word challenge lol.

Hello All just popping in to say Hi after I am back from an extended week at the lake with family. Ohhh boy I am pooped! Probably will not get any more scrapping done this week. Moving my youngest to St Louis next weekend. His dog got injured on our vacation, so he will be staying with us to keep a closer eye on him this week. Kinda like having a young one to watch all over again. We don’t mind just glad he is healing.
Glad to see Cheryl popping in with a tag challenge I will most definitely be doing that one when the chance presents itself.
Tanya, I hear you with the word challenge ones. I seem to always make it harder than it needs to be.

Hi ladies, I used to belong to this group but haven't scrapped since 2015. I'd like to rejoin starting with August if that's OK. I have so many supplies, kits & lots of photos printed. I've been checking things out & see a lot has changed so I may need a little direction with the challenges.

Basically, someone gets an idea and posts it on Wednesday to inspire the other scrappers. Thank you Cheryl! I'm working on a LO using one of your sketches from 2016. I had printed a bunch off & decided to start with them. Looking forward to getting it finished & posted!!
Tanya inspired me to go back and look at the June VSBN challenges that I missed, so here is my submission for the first one about LIGHTS. Some of the letters were more challenging than others, but I managed to figure them all out.
And really, it was inspired by Christy S. who used to participate here. I've followed her blog for years and just barely realized she has a perfect solution for the random photos I take almost daily of my little one! So I'm going back to the beginning and scrapping some of those early months that way!
