It's very cold here today so I think I can see me heading into my craft room. Hopefully I'll get a double page done.
Happy day and keep warm...or cold..wherever you are.

Happy Sunday Scrappy Sisters!
It's been a delightful weekend here at HOME ... yay! As most of you know, when I do get to stay home from travel, it's a nice thing
I started the day yesterday with a Boxing Class. Finally, found the MOJO to get back to class at the nearby gym. So energizing to start the day with a workout. I finished cleaning my closet and spent the afternoon in my Scrap Room. I finished some cards and 1 VSBN Scrap page ...
Today I did a walkfit exercise, church and now I'm off to the local craft store as they're having a "Rock Painting" Event. LOL! Have you heard of this new trend? I'm part of a group on Facebook and they paint rocks and put them places for people to find and rehide. Kind of a fun idea, brings smiles. I haven't painted any yet so I'm going to the store to see what supplies it takes. I'll be back in my Scrap Space later as I'm picking up some photos. Not that I don't have hundreds here already but it always inspires me when I pick up a new batch
Scrap On ....
Hi Lela....I came across the rock painting a few weeks ago on our local suburb's FB page. Some ladies are hiding them in our parks for the children to find during school holidays. Wonderful. I was thinking I could paint some with our grandies
Good to get back into exercise...I've also just restarted and finding I have more energy. Enjoy.
Look forward to seeing your LOs.
Happy day jx

Ok...I've been on a roll since yesterday morning and have made my goal for this month and my missed goal of last month, with even one more to spare! I finished the VSBN challenge pages that were so very creative from Lela, Sharon's scraplift, and Cheryl's sketch as well. So 14 pages later I'm one happy camper!
Since I already linked all the VSBN ones to that thread I will not repeat it and just add the others here.
The painted rocks is a thing here in Missouri as well. I actually have several rocks from my yard I have washed up with intention of painting something on them and hiding them as well. Here they ask people to put the Facebook symbol and group name on each rock and tell them to post a pic on the group site when one is found and hints where you are hiding them. My kids aren't little anymore, but I walk past the children's hospital everyday at work and think I'll hide them there for visitors, siblings, or patients to come across. The pics of the happy smiles by the kiddos on that page really made me want to take part in it. Fun, free, and a good ol RAK as well. It's on the list of things to do this month!
Has anyone tried stamping on them? I have so many cool images and simple sentiments that would be nice to share. Just wondering what ink would be best to try.

I think you could stamp with acrylic paint on red rubber stamps, but you'd want to wash it off your stamps immediately. I don't know what that would do to photopolymer.
Annie, that is a pretty cool technique!! had to make a quick trip to the bathroom trash!! Now I know what to do with all those little suckers!!!
Sharon I keep some for using in craft with my grandies....I saw a post where the lady had used the end for stamping cool circles, including using paper towel rolls. Looks great. I daren't try a new technique otherwise my scrapping will never get done LOL..happy day

TFS... I had no idea about this, it reminds me of GEO-CASHing. We tried that a couple of times. In reading about this letter boxing, we discovered that there are several right here in our area. I think the GDD's and I might go see if we can find a few tomorrow. What Fun!
I found one today in sour county park. . I had printed off the clue and went over after cardmaking at church. I was a first finder and even got a first finder certificate!
I hope you're all doing well. I miss being here & am planning to do 1 page a month for the rest of the year to reignite myself. It's been a few years since I've scrapped and miss it very much! Business is building, youngest graduated HS & life is ever changing but I want to get back to scrapping. I look forward to seeing your inspirational pages!
Hi everyone, I'll be offline for a week or so as we are heading off to the southern part of our state for a few days with friends and then a visit to see my motherinlaw. Winter woollies are packed as its only been 10 degrees down there during the day which is cold to us
I started a mixed media page but unfortunately time is against me and I won't have time to post or complete it until we are back.
Have fun creating and I look forward to seeing your posts during the week.
Happy days and scrapping.

I did not try stamping on them? ooohhh the possibilities! I just might. I painted all of them and not sure I'm good at "free form" painting, LOL! Oh well. The Group I belong to does the same, so I have to add the tags to the bottom of mine as well.
I was so excited to find a couple, LOL I'm just as excited to hide them

Monday I started going gluten free. Talk about a huge undertaking! Everything in my head is all about the terms and which food I can and cannot eat! Yup only focus was on gluten free. Then.. some how... hey,, I signed up for a class... hmmm
Find my email.. search.. oopps... umm.. I forgot to read the instructions and click on the handy dandy button! So I just went through the Welcome part of my course. Then my head went back to gluten free again! EEkk. I will start lesson 1 tomorrow I think maybe with a clearer head! Wish me luck!

Lynn --- Sending you {{good vibes}} I went GF about a year ago and don't regret it for a minute! It helped me lose 40 lbs. I'm probably 80% now as I added some back in (just got lazy) however I'm just getting ready to start a 21 Day Clean Eating Challenge Monday which is all about GF and whole foods. The biggest thing I missed .... coffee creamer! I switched to Soy product though which is GF because I really missed it,
I hope your Class turns out great

oh yeah ... I have so much on my weekend "To Do" List I'll still be doing stuff 0100 Monday, haha! First order of business is to straighten my Scrap Space as when it's a mess, I feel less "creative" ... once I have that done, I picked up the pictures for my July Scraplift page
All good, some house stuff and some craftin' .... a good mix for the weekend
Only 1 day of travel this week ... even better! Happy Saturday

I need all the help I can get with this gluten free thing! Though I am not going milk free. I do have to watch how much whey I eat. Oh Oh I had the most delicious mini quiche from the gluten free bakery. The crust was light and crisp! Yumm! Getting hungry thinking about it.
I finished the "welcome" class which was all the basics of design and some terminology. Today I will be doing the 4 videos. I think I will do it after dark as my scrap room gets VERY hot!
I am really behind! Thankfully my class is digital. I started my first layout. It took forever to figure out the 2 pictures I needed! eeek. well I will get there! LOL
I got creative for the first time this month and finished a layout last night - woohoo! I used my sketch for the month, but couldn't manage to use any VSBN challenges on it. Hopefully next time. This layout is a continuation of our tour of St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
Hi all, I must have been busy somewhere as it has been a long time since I checked in last. Looks like a busy time here..... I have a few more pages done, also picked up a book of my DGD's that has held my attention..... well into the second of the trilogy! It cuts into scrapping time!!!
Morning...umm.. actually..afternoon LOL. Thank you all for your encouragement. I must confess that I was following a layout sketch which made it simpler to do a layout.. and harder to get things to fit in the boxes on the sketch!
