Scrappin' Challenge 2018Can you believe this is our 10th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2017 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2018! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2018! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2018 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc18jan"

My goal for January is 8. I was one off of my Dec. goal, but still happy I finished what I did. It's a new month and I look forward to new challenges and to seeing what all of you do.

I always love New Years Day! It always feels like a new chapter
I have 24 Ideas on my 2018 Crafty To Do List .... I figure 2 a month might be do-able.
January is a good month for me to scrap (esp if the weather stays this cold) I'm going to do another 100 Day Challenge which is I do something "crafty" even if it's just organizing for at least 30 minutes a day. I can find myself wasting time gallery/facebook/IG browsing and not get anything productive done so ... this goal helps with that.
For January, I'm going to try to get 31 pages done ... my first is complete, January Scraplift! come and play

Ok so there were 5 videos for the OLW class and now I have all these ideas racing around in my head! If I try and catch it...it flies away like a hummingbird!
I did manage to may myself an additional card based on CZ FIT class that I did last year...I think it was last year... oh well..give me another month and I may get there! LOLOL
ROFL!! I'd help you up but I decided to re-organize my embellishment "stash" by dumping it all in the middle of my Scrap Office Floor ... and I was thinking this was a good idea?
I think my brain went too many directions too. Have you ever started a project and don't really want to finish :rolleyes::rolleyes:
Well, it's all over the floor now so ... I have to figure out

I was 2 short of my goal for 2017, with a total of 98. I *could* have finished it yesterday (it is sitting on my table) but I decided to spend time with family instead.
My goal this year is 102 pages.
January goal: 10
Yay for a fresh start!

Hold that thought for the Stash Challenge tomorrow! LOL
Hold that thought for the Stash Challenge tomorrow! LOL
Oh, I'm SO ready! I worked all day on re-organization/purge/clean... except for a quick stop to complete a 1/2 done page I found...
I'm doing a personal 100 Day Challenge to scrap 100 pages without purchasing anything new during that time. Today was good incentive on why I could go 365 days and not purchase anything new and still be scrapping...LOL!
I'm VERY much looking forward to the Stashbuster's Challenge Sharon! Esp now as I have all of my embellishments sorted and organized so I know right where whatever I need is located.
I also pulled together my "pocket cards" for Melissa's challenge. It would be great if I were still on vacation ....
Scrap On

I took lots of steps today ... but forgot to put my Fitbit on
At least you finally found the cards?
Good start Lela...at least you are doing it. Go girl!
I'm also looking forward to the Stash challenge as I really need to declutter some of the crap...did I really say that...ooops, I meant scrap stuff LOL...and use it. My goal this year is also to try and not purchase, well at least not within the first month LOL.
Seriously, I really need to stop buying stuff and use what I have, apart from albums for my projects. So my goal will be to purchase items that I only need for a project if I can't use something else or don't have it. It's weak I know, but a BIG start for me.
Happy day

I just realised that I have made something this week....a birthday card for my SIL.
Hubby asks whether I have a card to give to his sister yesterday. When I find my stocks are low, there's nothing for it but to make one quickly. She loved it...phew. Amazing what I can do when under pressure :p
Another goal for this year....keep card stocks on hand. ;)
Happy day

Speaking of this ... have you seen the trend "Where I Stand" and all the pictures (and scrap pages) of feet? I don't have enough different shoes to make that interesting...maybe

After a six month dry spell, I scrapped like crazy the last week of 2017! I came in 2 short of my yearly goal of 52, but I'm happy I completed 50 layouts for the year. Since I seem to be on a scrappy roll, I am going to take the plunge and commit to scrapping 10 layouts the month. Can't wait to see what the challenge hostesses have in store for us.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, if you can find them, maybe you can hire...

Not heard of this Lela and will check it out. If I got out all my shoes and took a photo I'd need a wide lens LOL and hubby would turn a different colour and have heavy breathing......;) I'm afraid I have a shoe addiction, but I like the concept. Maybe I can include something similar for my selfie page...LOL.
Happy day

OK girls...I found life just got in the way, but in a good way with Nov & Dec filling up with more opportunities for pictures than time to scrap any. I finished 2017 with my goal of 150 met, even though I hit that at the end of Oct. I never got beyond it. I am starting a different job in the next 2 weeks, which will be 800% less stress though a few more hours a week. I am hoping my crafting time won't be lost in the change of schedule, but be gained by not being as exhausted as I have been living. Happy NEW year ladies!!!
Morning! I saw the stash buster challenge...and me being a bit different.. I made a stash! LOL..pocket pages is new to me... and I am doing OLW... but I did not have the journaling cards I wanted so I made some! Some are just recoloured into the pantone colour of the year... one I created a gradient quote card by mistake.. then I created a 4x6 journaling card with a digital quote so I can do a month end review
Hello all! It's been quite some time since I've been active on Splitcoast, but I have some scrapbooking goals this year, and I know that this will help me be accountable and get the kick in the pants that we all surely need some of the time.
My yearly goals:
Take at least 1 photo on at least 20 days of the month
Scrapbook a minimum of 2 pages (can be double layout) a month using said photos (i.e., 2018 photos) to create a 2018 album
In addition, scrapbook at least an average of 1 page a week throughout the year (can be current or older pictures)
So scrapbook page total goal is 76
Budget Goal: $100 or less out of pocket this year, not including page protectors or adhesive
I'll have to figure out how to get that information in my signature....it's been a long time!! I'm sure I'll have it worked out eventually....even if only by year end!
Astrid

You could follow Lynn's example and show off your painted toe nails :-) I love seeing her different colors
