Scrappin' Challenge 2021 Can you believe this is our 14th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?!
We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2020 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2021! Let's keep scrappin'. It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2022! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops... What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process!
Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. *In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us. You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE?Come and Play in the 2022 Scrapbook Challenge!
Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends! We'd love to "oohh" and "ahh" so please use Key Word sbc22jan

Just popping on to wish you all a Happy New Year. Hope it’s better than the past two. I haven’t scrapped for months. I’m doing an art journal course at present so not sure when I will get back. Have fun. Hugs

Well, I scrapped this evening for the first time is quite a while. I finished the sketch challenge and will get it photographed tomorrow and posted. It was really good to have the sketch as my place to start. I usually hem-haw around and waist a lot of time. I started pulling photos that could go together and then decided which one where. From there I chose paper. I'm feeling really good about this, it usually takes me a couple of days.
Hope you all had a good weekend.
Have a productive Monday!

I love to start with a sketch or scraplift! Such a great way to at least get started .... sometimes it turns out nothing like the start but always helps to get going ... I have mine done today too and a couple of the Scraplifts selected ...

This one started as a Scrapbook Kit so the first page is "close" but the 2nd page I had to make it work with my photos.... what I didn't photo was the pocket page I finished that goes in the middle. I had so many fun family photos
Today after church I started in on some "Organization" projects, I didn't want to do a major process but I did move some things around hoping to make the "flow" alittle easier and keep more room on my desk. I'm pleased with the results. It's "back to work" tomorrow but already looking forward to finishing my scrap pages I started tomorrow night

Happy 2022!
Yesterday afternoon I was finally able to sit down and write out some goals and plans for myself in the coming year. I decided I'm shooting for 110 pages this year, planning on ten pages each month except December, haha. I barely got anything made in November, including the holiday treats my kids requested! LOL!
So for today I'm at 0/10. haha!

It wasn't too crazy today at work and DH was sweet to clean up after dinner so I had time tonight to get the Sketch Challenge pages finished and start on another ... yay! MOJO on a Monday
I ended up getting busy packing for our big trip so didn't have time to finish another layout for December, so I ended up with 51 for the year. Would have like to get to 52 for that one-layout-a-week thing, but life happened. For 2022, I plan to go for 52 again, and I am setting my goal for January at 5. Left a little love in the gallery, but now I'm off to make dinner for the fam. Hope to scrapbook this week, though.
I worked on my Scraplift last night, I tried some Texture Paste on it so I had to let it dry ...It was fun. I do wish though I would have used a different background color ... but it's done
Tonight I'm working on the first pages of a mini-album I decided to do #52weeksofme
I'm not generally a 6x8 scrapper but I thought it would be fun to follow along with the prompts. I used texture paste for that one too so I'll be back to show that one tomororw

Hi 👋
I was looking yesterday but must have gotten sidetracked and never posted my goal.
I think I made my goal last year of 150 pages but I am not sure as I lost track somewhere along the way of how many I was doing. I just know that I scrapped pretty well each month and with a December Crop I was able to finish the year with a goodly number of pages.
This year I will go with 150 pages again although I need to find a better system of keeping track of how many pages I do each month. I know I don’t post many of my completed pages so I can’t count them in my gallery and this form side is the only one that allows me to track how many pages I do in my signature.
Hi 👋
I need to find a better system of keeping track of how many pages I do each month.
I have an idea - pick up a little date calendar from the Dollar Tree, or the such, and faithfully make notes there. Keep it with your scrapping table and pop it in your bag when you attend a crop.

That's what I do, I just write it in my Planner/Calendar ... I'd never remember if I didn't : )

Happy Friday to you! I've had a happily productive week! I've managed to make and mail out four cards, walk every day, read every day AND I got three scrapbook pages done!
Committed to continue working on pages/scrapbooking. I have a goal of 52 pages this year, same as last year. I not only met my goal but over achieve it. The projects I completed, made me feel over excited, and I am hoping to repeat this goal again. Already posted a page.
Hope this year is full of blessings for you all!

Here's my layout using the recycled sketch from January 2017. I like the idea of using older sketches, btw. It's fun to revisit sketches and see what you can do with them using different products and the techniques you've learned since they were first published!
I got busy yesterday and today as originally the local Card Class I'm hosting/teaching was going to be cancelled. At the last minute I had some sign ups so I decided to pull it together. I had (6) card designs and they could make 4. I had (7) people pay, 5 showed up and all of them ended up making 3 cards instead of 4. I loved that they did their own designs and even decorated the envelopes! Very fun group. That did make yesterday a little busy getting supplies and designs pulled together after all.
Today I finished up the layout I started Friday night. I'm also working on some Valentine Cards as a friend of mine and I are doing a series of Videos using a Valentine paper pack leading up to our (virtual) Crop in February.
I finished a triple layout last night because it took three pages to scrap my daughter's homecoming dance. The first page started off as a scraplift but I don't know that it shows up very well, lol... Maybe I'll try again?
My layout with photos from Japan. This was an impressive water fountain in a huge mall. The 2020 was too large to capture in a single photo but we took photos of us. We had such happy expectations that crumbled a month later and still exists 2 years later. Struggling today to remember that we need not fear the things of earth because we are children of our Lord God. Mall Fountain 2020 by AnniePanda at Splitcoaststampers

Joyce Ann, I immediately found a spiral notebook that I can keep in my craft boxes that I take to every Crop there I will jot down the pages as I finish them. I have not completed many yet this year as I have been prepping for the Crop coming up Friday.
That was a wonderful suggestion know if I can follow through. When I’m not at a crop I will have to post my spiral book and a spot on my desk that keeps it in front of my face.
I am a lot looking forward to my Crop on the weekend to have better Internet access with my computer I hope to do a little catch-up commenting while taking a break from actual scrapping.
Wow, Lela, sounds like so serious crafting! Have fun and and keep us posted. It would be fun to have get-togethers with you all.
It was a little intense but we had a fun class. The Virtual Crop is on Zoom so if you want to join just message me and I'll send you the link. I'm inviting lots of friends to come and play. It seems many of my scrap friends and myself are looking for a little MOJO and with cold temps and rising Pandemic issues again in some places, staying home and scrapping is the best option so this allows us still to chat!
We should do a Zoom, I have a subscription if we want to do an SCS Scrapper one
Last night I made cards, tonight I'm back scrappin' Christmas

Have a good time Sharon! I love Crops ... probably not getting to an "in person" one until April unless I get a chance to go up to MI and scrap with my BFF ... we'll see what the weather does

Yes, Lela , let’s zoom and scrap! I get a lot done when I zoom with my card making friends! I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing and really talking to them, it would be fun to really talk with this group.
Well I finally started a couple of pages today! I just need to figure out how to do the title & journaling. I should be able to get them finished tomorrow!!
