Scrappin' Challenge 2021 Can you believe this is our 13th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?!
We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2020 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2021! Let's keep scrappin'. It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2021! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops... What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process!
Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. *In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us. You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE?Come and Play in the 2021 Scrapbook Challenge!
Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends! We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc21aug

This year instead of "Challenges" we're going to have a new opportunity for Inspiration. It's called,
Working On It Wednesdays
Each Wednesday a Hostess will post an Inspiration Idea, Question, Discussion, Picture, Sketch, Link to a past Challenge, a new challenge ... just something that may inspire a page.
We will keep track of how many each of us participate in by doing a page/card from what's posted. Hopefully at the end of 2021, we'll have 52 more cards or scrap pages from our Wednesday happenings.
I'm hoping by keeping it more casual, we'll get others who are willing to help do a post for the week so it doesn't fall to the same people all the time? It should mix it up some.
All of the Wednesday Posts will be Listed here in our Thread so you don't have to go looking for it.
The Work On It Wednesday Posts will be in the following Post

Looking forward to some August Scrappin' FUN! What are you scrappin' this month?
Thank goodness for a Crop I went to in July, I got 38 pages done. This month I'm headed off to another in late August. It just seems right now, I'm more productive when I'm away ... seasons of life.
All good! My goal for this month is 15 because I'm working on some other projects

My YTD is 34 layouts, and I am setting my goal for August for 10. My kids go back to school the 9th, and I received a jury duty summons, but I'm crossing my fingers that I won't get on a week long trial, so hopefully I will have some scrappy time this month.
Finished my first layout since 2015! I used Cheryl's Sketches2016Jun1 to get me started! I have another one just about done then I'm changing my focus to completing a year before I move on to the next. I have a lot of albums that aren't finished.
In July I did 14/10 pages, and My YTD is 79/120. I'm going to shoot for 12 more for August, and I have no real idea if I can pull that off, lol.
I have a lot of things I want to do and a lot of things I need to do and it will really just depend on how other things go, haha! The biggest factor is that my husband is to the taping and mudding phase of building our daughter's basement bedroom, and once that is done we'll move me into her current room, which was always intended to be the craft room! That could take weeks, or months, depending on his "free" time and the cost of things. Moving in could take weeks too, lol, because I'm going to try to organize EVERYTHING. Who knows anything, haha. I am glad school is starting up- I am craving routine.
I hope you are all well! Looking forward to another month!

How exciting!! Looking forward to pics once you're moved into you craft room!
Work on It Wednesday challenge for today: since Sunday was Sisters Day, let's pull out photos of sister(s) and create a layout featuring them! Doesn't have to be your sister, but any kind of sister relationship. Keyword in the gallery is 080421.
Update: I didn't see the theme for the month when I posted, so please disregard this challenge! I guess we're scraplifting this month, so see Lela's post near the top of this thread.
Welcome Lou Ann. I still need to take a look at your finished layout, the first in years??!!
I feel like I have not done anything in years when it has only been a month. ...
I completed only one layout in July!
I had a bit of a setback with some “minor” outpatient surgery. I’m one of those 1 in 500??
took a bit longer to recover in the hospital.
just now feel like getting in my craft room.
feeling scrapping enough to put 6 layouts as my goal for August.
have one already done, I just need to get it posted.
Hi Sharon. Sorry to hear that you have had some health issues. Hope you are now ok.
just a reminder everyone that it’s DTGD today…from the 7th. I think you I’ll be able to do some challenges on your scrapbook pages. Have fun. Happy weekend.

Monthly: MMJ Challenge….get inky and have fun
Whew, August is flying by again! Hope all of you are feeling the crafty MOJO ... I spent the weekend making cards which was super fun, haven't done that in awhile. I finished my 2nd August layout tonight, just need to add Embellishments
I thought it would be fun this month to have a "theme" for Work On It Wednesday's ... I miss our Scraplift Challenge.
Don't forget in September we're going to do an (old fashion) VSBN .... one of those with a new challenge posted every 2 hours .... We haven't done that in awhile. More to come on that soon as I want to get the dates posted so everyone has time to plan ...

Sorry you've been down with surgery, Sharon.
I haven't done anything crafty this month, til today when I got three pages done for my youngest. She found some stickers that HAD to be used, lol, and it fit two older challenges, 041421 and 062921. They'll be next to each other in her book so it worked out.
They're incredibly simple, but today is a day for baby steps. Covid won't go away, record heat is draining and now our skies are so full of smoke we can't be outside (SO sorry to those areas that are burning. I remember that too...). We needed something quick and happy!

2024 Scrapping Goals: March 8/12; Feb: 6/15; 2024: 35/125
Tonight I got (1) page done. I'm so glad to have this finally finished ... ever have photos you pick up and put down what seems like "1000" times? LOL! This is for the last page in my 2017 Spring Album
I'm so happy to have older photos scrapped
Happy Sunday! It's been a scrappy weekend here! A little "virtual" scrapping with some friends using the CM Sketch Challenges and some additional pages finished, All-in-all a good weekend so far. I have another page laid out on my desk to finish after I do some walking. It's 70 degrees here so a beautiful day for a walk. I don't know about you but if I don't exercise/walk first, I will just keep scrapping and not do it later, LOL! If only scrapbooking were exercise ..
I finished two pages for the August 4th Scrap Lift Challenge using layouts by PrincessP1971. The first one I used was DSC07280_by_princessp1971. I felt it was a fail so I decided to use Another library project which I think I nailed!
Hello Everyone! Adding some pages I have been working on with 5 of the 6 from Christmas 2009. And the little girl in the photos just started her freshman year in high school! Yikes that went fast!!
I have been scrapping this month, it seems to be slow going but I have 7 pages done and working on the 8th.
now I have read 10 or more books this month.
I have been organizing my papers by theme, mostly Christmas at the moment and have come to the conclusion that next year I will need to catch up on all and I mean ALL my Christmas photos from current to past years! Then I wonder what I will do with all of the leftover Christmas paper I’m going to have!!!??

I hear ya Sharon! I reorganized my craft room last year & started with paper. It was one of the best things I've done & so much easier to find what I need. Of course now I don't think I will ever need to buy another sheet & I love paper!.
Got 6 more pages finished so I hit my goal for the month. Only uploading 4 of them. Still need to leave some love in the gallery for the month. Sorry I am a bit behind in that department this month, but do love all your inspirations and efforts to share your work. It does really help me stay motivated and fill up the creative bucket that is my mind when it gets too low. I appreciate it even when I do not take the time to reply.
I was hoping to get the 8/25 scraplift done for Annie Panda but I ran out of time....actually we cleaned the cellar today. But at least I exceeded my goal (9) with 13 pages done!
