Got 4 more Wedding pages done today before I couldn’t see my table anymore. I know y’all feel my struggle.
Catching up with a few of Cheryl’s challenges with the sketch and creative title. I think that means I only have one challenge left to hit b4 I’m caught up. It’s to use green... so might have to wait until after my wedding pages for that unless I switch gears and do a random one.
Ladies if you use page protectors...as I do sometimes..you can do something interactive on the outside. I’ve seen Ali Edwards do this. If all else fails, maybe add hidden journalling. Just have fun
I did another page earlier. Will post when I get a good photo.

I want to get a little more caught up on my daughter's books BEFORE her senior year, haha..... and there is a TON to do, and I just keep taking more photos.... haha.
Do any of you have photo albums in addition to your scrapbooks? I have one photo album for my teenagers of photos that end up not making it on a page for whatever reason, but that were printed "for" their pages. but both photo albums are garbage and not even that old, and hardly looked at. I got them at walmart and you get what you pay for... but the alternatives I'm finding online are either equally junk or incredibly expensive. I don't want to pay $35+ to hold a few 4x6 prints! But I also don't want them falling apart and photos falling out. I just wondered what other people do. Thanks!

I’ve got tons of photos that don’t get scrapped. For example the travel album I’m doing I printed at least another 100 more photos..some are rubbish but those that are good I will put in an envelope and just put inside the album. I get annoyed with myself as I choose some photos for a page and then find better ones lol. I never know what to do with them.
I have a page laid out ready to be scrapped later today. So enjoying doing my travel album amd especially as we can’t travel.
Sharon has kindly agreed to post a challenge for us this Wednesday...look out for it and thank you Sharon.
Have fun

My challenge is to use at least one black and white photo on your layout. I have lots of them for my heritage albums, but I have seen really pretty layouts using a modern day photo printed in Black and white. So give it a try!
Well, thanks to Sharon for posting a challenge that was halfway ready on my desk. Finished up this double page layout using a couple black and white photos. I love the way they look mixed in with other colored ones.
Thank you for the challenge Sharon. Added to my list.

This is something fun that I have only done once, but I will try to figure out some photos that I can get printed in black and white. No promises, though, since I love color!
Today’s Wednesday Challenge is to take any basic shape (square, rectangle, triangle, hexagon, circle, oval, heart, star, etc) and use it at least 3 times on your layout. Lots of room for variations here as you could use it in your background, embellishments, picture shape, mat shape, part of your title, the list goes on and on.
Here is a sample I used on my wedding page by using triangles as embellishments, a mat turned so a square becomes a series a triangles, and even placement of a triangle to see the negative space creating more triangles. It may be kind of incongruent to do a wedding page with these whimsy angles, but that was what I was going for trying to make it less formal. I hope you can see what I mean.
Here's a layout I completed for Jayne's Work on It Wednesday interactive challenge. I popped up one of the pictures to create a pocket for a die-cut, which you can slide out and read the text.
It’s rainy here today, so stayed in this morning and did more pages. Here is another double page spread using the shape challenge. Used hexagons on one side and circles in the other.

Thanks Jayne for reminding me of this challenge, my first page of the photo journal I'm making.
The square shape with the rounded corners made into a waterfall piece, I'm not making large pages, easier to keep in a box with spare photos.
Just stopping by to say hi it has taken me weeks to get logged in again on my phone. I could not remember the password!
my laptop stayes logged in but not my phone. When did life get so hard and complicated?
I guess it took a turn when we moved out to the country and then it seem like the whole world changed..
I managed to play with Amy's latest challenge, just because this page needed something extra....! Rectangles it is! Seminary Graduation
Our church offers religion classes on school days, so this is part of his high school graduation. It's a weird layout to me but the entire story needed recorded. It's from last summer and it's the first time we were inside a church since the world shut down.

My page for Sharon's challenge, my Dad took this of my eldest with the nurse, she was Military nurse as my sons were born in the Military Hospital in Germany.
The nurse would collect them after the last feed and take them to the nursery for the night, we never knew if they screamed all night long but we had a good nights sleep!!
