Are we having a scrapbook get together any time Lela?

I’m going onto the March VSBN when I’ve finished Cheryl’s challenge as I missed Lela’s challenges and they seem appropriate right now and fun.

Hi Cheryl, it much better thanks. Bruised around the little toe and on top of the foot. Would you believe it..I walked into our laundry door frame..too much haste, less speed lol. DH is still not able to walk properly due to pulling something behind his knee so between the 2 of us we look a right pair hobbling around lol.
I’m hoping tomorrow I can get back into my exercise routine.
Keep well everyone. Thanks for the challenge Cheryl.

A few weeks ago I started an online course on improving my journaling. I haven't gotten very far but last night while working on a lesson I was inspired to write my story on a batch of photos. With the story written I went in and actually put photos in two pocket pages. I have a selection for the one page and am starting to plan it. I will still need to embellish the two pocket pages, too.
I'm trying to do one creative thing every day for 30 days that started 4/13. Need to go and actually do something for today!

It’s wonderful seeing all of the pages being done while we are all stuck at home for the most part. I am getting some scrapping done but doing as much reading as I am scrapping.
Hubby is home now and doing much better he has been resting for the most part and hopefully can regain back his his strength stamina and will to keep going. We are between attending to him cleaning scrapping and reading the days just keep going on by and it doesn’t matter whether we have to stay at home or not because I would be here anyway
It has been a very long week. I don't remember which day the governor announced that school is officially closed for the year, but we'll continue online learning. I knew it was coming but uggghhhh..... And we found out the yearbook printing companies have furloughed their employees. Again, not surprising, but just one more thing not going "right". There are a lot of emotions in this house right now and it is exhausting. I didn't get to scrap anything over "Spring Break" and today I just made myself get some done. lol... So here they are! Tho I just barely uploaded them.
Here's a few more...I'm into Christmas 2019 so expect that's what I'll be doing for a while. I never get tired of Christmas pages, so that's a good thing. It just means I'm almost done with another album after this event! Yippee!

This last week was spring break and it was a really productive week for me. I haven't been able to scrap much becuase my teenagers have been using my space for school, but no school last week! So I got to work. My three day crop got cancelled so my husband arranged with my teenagers to watch the babies and he bought all my favorite treats and then sent me to my scrap room. He had to go to work and so my kids waited on me hand and foot. They brought me drinks, and my meals were brought to me. They kept the babies out of the way and I was able to work for almost 14 hours straight. I had a stack of 17 layouts that needed journaling. I was able to finish those. I also had a stack of 7 layouts that needed titles cut and I finished those. Plus I was able to make 15 more double page layouts! It was so awesome. By the time I was done with the day my back and eyes hurt, but I had finished 81 pages! It was awesome. Now I have to go downstairs and clean up since school starts again tomorrow. I'm with daizees...ugggggh.
Andy, glad that you managed to find time to scrap and wow way to go....81 pages. I'm about to go and plan my next one. It's getting cooler here so nice scrapping weather. Have a fun day everyone

Yes! Happy Scrapping! How has the week been going?
I've been busy with cards Monday and Tuesday since I scrapped all weekend. It was a productive weekend, 22 pages scrapped!
I figured out how many pages I need to complete to have all of 2018, 2019 (not including my Big Trip) and 2020 up to present finished -- 115. So that's my new goal ... I think it would be super fun to have all of those Albums done
I can't imagine how much room that would give me in my photo boxes!!! I tend to print photos regularly instead of in batches and then they sit around, stack up and sometimes when I go to scrap the event I can't find them. Oh bother....
Well yes, happy Scrapping day!

Spent three hours last night trying to figure out how to create a layered cut image in Cricut Design Space using an imported image, but I never could get it to look right, so now I'm going old school using tracing paper and hand cutting! Probably should have done that in the first place, but I was really hoping to learn a new skill I could use on my layouts. Oh well, off to create a pug image for my son's birthday party pictures. Wish me luck!
That’s a cute cushion Joyce Ann. Thanks re the stamp...I like it.
I made a tag using up a panel I made last week and managed to put in 2 other challenges. I will add these to my Covid19 pages when I get to them. Here it is...
I’m about to scrap Santa Cruz...I have 106 photos to choose from taken on one day....mmmmm. Might be a tricky challenge for me and more than one page lol.

Jayne I hated Grand Canaria, we went to Costa Rica, worse holiday I’ve ever had, it was all man made, a concrete jungle, black beaches and time share everywhere, stopped us every time we left the hotel, I ended up going home and being so ill, so was Mum, I had to have tests at home and had salmonella, the health official came to the house, I was at work as I felt better, he asked Steve if we had old people or babies in the house, which we didn’t and then he said I shouldn’t be cooking, of course he made a sarcastic remark about I never go into the kitchen, ha,ha,
Not fond memories of that place, that’s why we never went to any of the other islands after that!
Wow Jan that is a bad memory. Sorry you had a bad experience. We had been to Tenerife before with my sister and hubby and their friends and enjoyed it but wouldn’t go again. It was full of Poms sitting around in their bathers and bikinis reading the Sun and smoking. Every bar had English food and football on tvs. I didn’t like it and think the hotel we stayed in was one of these all inclusive resorts which we don’t like. We are such snobs lol. We like to stay where the locals stay and embrace local culture and cuisine. My sister and her friend chose the hotel..huge place and that’s another story lol. I’ll get to that trip another time. We were there for New Years Eve and I had a fall walking down an unlit street...and what a fall it was. Bad memories of that place.
On this trip we chose to go on the Thomson’s cruise my sister had booked and I was worried but it turned out to be a fabulous week and we so enjoyed all of the places we went to...well nearly all..Morocco was an eye opener. I doubt we would go back but so pleased we went.
I’ve just started another page for Las Palmas and just have to add embellishments. I’ll post it tomorrow. I have so many photos. I think we enjoy the trips where we jut wander and explore and we did on this one. My sister and the others all used to just walk the main port or prom and we would see them later for dinner.
Happy day. It’s dinner here

Jayne, the hotel we stayed was a strange place as it was self catering rooms with a kitchenette which was ok with us as we like to eat spanish food but was as you say it was wall to wall English food! The Germans all had the towels on the sun beds so you couldn’t get one, they left them overnight too, one night we came back from a meal and someone had thrown them all in the pool, ha,ha,, next morning the hotel put a sign up, no towels on su beds. Steve told the time share people that he was Icelandic, then started to talk gobbledygook, he did that in Turkey too, trouble is he told everyone on the gullet so they all did it as well, the others said Their faces was hilarious as they were all talking gobbledygook walking along the street.
I love the spanish mainland , so much culture, trouble is everyone goes to Barcelona, Madrid, they are so expensive, our son tells his work colleagues not to go to the big places, I loveD Segovia, we stayed in Tarifa and that was beautiful, we caught a ferry to Morocco from there, I was scared there and Steve and our friend who was a navy guy both spotted two blokes following us, they told the guide who told them it was the security , in those narrow streets Steve had his eyes everywhere watching , there was a wedding party walking along the streets and they how a cow and goats with them!
We took our eldest the second time we went and he loved it, I would never go nowadays though.
