Ok, the person I chose as this weeks featured scrapper may be familiar to some of you. She is a wonderful scrapper and has a great eye for color and design. I spend alot of time in her gallery she has many many wonderful pages to gain inspiration from.

LOL!!! Ever since I uploaded the mini album I made the Gallery has been down...I guess I broke it ;-) It went into shock since it's been such a long time since I've uploaded anything!!!! LOL!!! (Okay, so I'm easily amused). DD1 tennis lesson done and we're off to breakfast & to order new glasses for DD2...and for DD1 to spend her birthday money (it's burning a hole in her hand as we speak!). I plan on scrapping the rest of the weekend...hope to see you all around :-)

With things a bit slower now I'm actually getting some current pictures printed to prep for VSBN. I had an offer thru Borders to get a free 8x8 photo book from Shutterfly so I asked my ex-MIL if she would like to choose 20 layouts from my gallery and I would have them placed in the book for her. She did, of course, choose all the great grandchildren pictures and I downloaded them and got the book yesterday! SO COOL! This is the first time I've had any of the digi scrap pages printed. They came out awesome! I'm almost sorry I have to give it away! LOL! But I know she will enjoy it and probably show it to every person that comes to visit! Certainly is encouragement for me to go spend the money and get the pages printed at the 12x12 size now. Just have the feeling the cost will be over $200...maybe I'll have to pay myself some of that vacation pay that's just been sitting there! Come Nov. 1, I bank another 120 hours vacation time and since I only take one week of real vacation time a year, I usually just take the money around Christmastime. I've still got 96 hours left to take by Nov 1!!!

I got 3 pages done at a crop last night plus I made the register book for my DH's grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary Dinner Party. Yay! At least I got a few pages done!

Gift Album...
Very odd...I've been trying to access the Gallery from the main buttons at the top right of the page but keep getting the 'it's down' notice. I tried from my avatar and did the 'visit mp's gallery' and it comes up, not sure what's up with SCS. I found the album for $2.50 at Joanne's and had the 8 inch DCWV fairy tale (?) pad from who knows when...don't know if it was a gift or I bought on sale, that's how long I had it! :-) They've been married for 8 years and have been trying to have a baby for a while so I thought the fairy tale theme would be fun :-)

The Biggest Loser Event was so awesome.... I was so excited! We were able to get up close and personal with Bob Harper and several other constestants from past shows....  . Donna & I walked the mile in just a little over 20 minutes. So now my new goal is going to be to run it in under 15 minutes.

Ok all is quiet here so I think I'm going to try some of the challenges. I am a little confused are the only scrapbooking challenges the ones listed for the different days of the week...sketch, goal, inspiration, variety and digi. Is the featured scrapper a challenge also or just some inspiration? Are there others? Guess I am making this harder than it should be.

Hi...Monday's challenge is the Inspiration one (every other Monday), Tuesdays had been digi challenges (currently looking for another hostess I think), Wednesday is the Variety challenge, Thursday is the Featured Scrapper (brand new on the listing) and Friday is the Sketch Challenge. If you want other challenges, you can always go back to the older VSBN challenges..there are lots of good ones to get inspiration from... __________________

I'm just now figuring out the sneaky ways into the galleries too and it's so odd! Too bad I haven't ADDED anything to the galleries, just enjoying everyone else's hard work! Keep it up! I'm glad someone is doing something productive! I can't seem to do much but write lesson plans here lately! My Disney album is calling me so maybe this week I'll get something done! Only about 10 layouts left and I'll be FINISHED!! At least until we go again! haha

I completed another couple of layouts so I passed my goal... YEAH! And I have uploaded a couple to the gallery. Of course the pictures are horrible and I will work on that but just wanted to try it. Off to see about working on another layout.

Ladies I received my prize package in the mail today. WOW what an awesome prize. FULL of so many pretty things. I love the die cut boxes and the vintage ribbon! I am closing yet another month with an Incomplete. I can't get it together. Seriously, I have 6, 12x12, 20-25page gift albums started not one complete. I have several other 6x6 albums, papers cut and waiting for assembly, I just can't get them done. So at 6pm on this last day of Sept I give up. I will try for Oct for finding my lost Mojo. For me Sept is a bust!
