I'm back for another month of 3. I'm getting close to my goal and I'm so excited about that! My birthday just happened, Aug. 29. I'm also excited about this scraplifting challenge! I keep wanting to go in my scrap room and do something, but my creativity has left me. Scraplifting will be good I think.

not sure how much scrapping I will end up getting done this month. When in AZ, our oldest son called and said someone stopped at their house and asked if they could buy it. Within 24 hours they had a deposit and all papers signed. The offer given couldn't be refused. But they have to be out by Sept 17. I've been up there for the past 2 days helping my DIL pack and look after the 2 babies. I think they will be moving in with us until they can find a house to buy. What a whirlwind!

Well, considering that I haven't really scrapbooked in a very long time, and I've actually completed a small 8 X 8 layout. Take a peek HERE. So for September I'm doing great...I even have another small layout ready to post for early next week! WEEEEE

Unexpectedly I'm off to a Scrappin' Crop this weekend. My DH was supposed to take my youngest son to MI. Now the dry wall guys want to come this weekend so he has to be here so I'm delegated to travel duty w/ my youngest. I checked in with some friends and they just happened to be going to a CROP! Woohoo! Drop off DS and off to scrapbook for the weekend.
How often does that happen?!

Hmmm, I think I'll tell him later I found a CROP to go to! hahahaha! I'm so amused by this...

I'm envious...have a fun weekend! I've got to spend the weekend data entering DH business stuff since he decided to become an LLC and they finally started it effective July 1...now I've got to enter all the payments from February through current (I know..scrapping and regular life seems to get in the way of business stuff ) and I usually don't get anything ready until November and December for year end taxes! I was told I have to have it done within the next 2 weeks so CPA can get things in order by Sept 30. There goes my scrapping time (again)!

I almost forgot that I can't post pictures on Sundays so I hurried to glue everything down this evening and took a pic outside before I lost the light. Here is my first page for September.
I ended up using 5 of those many punches I own! I just wish I could have figured out how to incorporate ribbon as well. I have 2 more pages of pics from this event to do so maybe on the next ones!
DD is 3 months old, DS is in preschool, things are getting in order. Hoping to go back to scrapbook this week monday!!!

You did an amazing job incorporating so many challenges into your page, Terry. I left you some love in the gallery!

Wow, Deb, sounds like you've been busy and things aren't gonna slow down any time soon. I always find it impossible to do any hobbies when someone's staying at my house. Congrats to your son and DIL, though. It's great when one gets an offer that can't be refused!!

Bummer! But at least you won't have to do it ALL in November and December!

Exactly! It'll have to be done as things occur now (Like a real business ) so hopefully not a lot of stress at year end anymore. But boy, does my dining room look like "Earl the hurricane" has hit it today!

Feeling a bit better so I'm going to do a little cleaning; hopefully that won't be the end of my energy and I can get to play in my craft room too. Monday is my last day of anitbiotics (which I swear makes me feel worse than being sick itself!) and hopefully I'll be back up and running soon after. I'm so far behind this year I almost don't know where to start :-) Pages have been great, your making my mojo bubble!

Good luck Carole! It's so difficult with little ones...at least with the big ones you can tell them mom needs a break (not that they listen to you anyway ;-)). When you can't keep up just put your photos in one of those slide-photo-in type albums w/ a 4 x6 note card for journaling...just as effective and you can keep up better that way (just my tip :-))
I can't believe it's already the 5th and I haven't posted yet! Well, yes I can...school started and my son turned 7 so I've been busy writing lesson plans and making birthday invites for his rocket party! Anyway, good to see so many people already posting ! I will continue to work on my Disney album (are you sick of it yet, lol!), I only have about 10 layouts to go!! So, my September goal will be 5. I passed my August goal of 10 by 4 so I was impressed! heehee
Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend!!!
I was bummed out that I did not get to spend as much time in my craft room as I would have liked today, but that is OK there is always tomorrow!! I will be posting the only page I was able to complete this week end a little later.
Sounds like everyone has been having great fun either with family or in their craft room or crops. Have a great Labor Day every one!
Okay, I'm gonna try this goal thing again this month. I did not do well living up to my goals in August but, September should be much better. I'm only about 4 pages behind on my YTD goal but I set a low goal of only one page per week this year. I'm thinking September is gonna be the month that I come back out of my "scrapbooking shell" so to speak and really rock the pages. So my goal for September is going to be 10 pages. Lela, you can update my YTD total to 32 completed pages as of August 31st.
I am going into September with 1 page at a time..... thanks to all the inspiration I find at Scrapbook.com: Supplies and Scrapbooking Ideas. (so far I have not purchased anything but who knows.....inspriation is enough for me) Besides I have to scrap my stash most of the time.

Thanks Lela. I hope I can make it this time. I have a list of all the pages I need to create based on challenges from another forum and so that's 10 total projects and the doesn't even include the sketches from sketch blog.

Now if I could only remember how I was able to update my YTD goal on my signature, I have only found it by accident a couple of times.
To update your signature, go to the top of the page and click on the envelope. Then go to the left side of the page and scroll down to "edit signature". Click on that and make your changes. Then after your changes are done, at the bottom of the page is where you "save signature".
Hope this makes sense for you Sharon

I'm excited to share another page that I completed. That's 2 for this month, and 100% improvement over last month's accomplishments! HA! You can see my page HERE.

It makes perfect sense Deb, and thank you very much. It is so easy  to do I hope I will remember for next time I want to make changes.

I'm right there with you Jenn! I have a list of altered projects and scrap sketches I want to work through...I'm making progress but the list grows weekly  Guess that's good though....

O.K., ladies, I'm running a little bit late today (the holiday weekend has been fuller than I had expected), so I'm just posting my first Inspiration Challenge as the new co-hostess. It's called Doodlebug Ad Inspiration (SIC81) and I think you're going to like it.
