Default Why No New Postings To This Thread About the MISTI

I just was wondering why there are no New postings about the MISTI. Up until the end of the summer there was lots of information being posted. What things to do with your MISTI. What size MISTI to buy. Have people lost interest in the MISTI. One of the main reasons I purchased one is because Split Coasters were Raving about it.

I guess there is not much more to say. MISTI is truly the most amazing craft tool ever invented. I have a friend who is an Art Therapy nurse, she cries when she describes how her patients use MISTI. She says the look on their faces when they stamp an image is priceless.

Here is the link to My Sweet Petunia. There are 3 sizes, my preference is for the "original' MISTI, however if you are a scrapbooker the large one would be fabulous.

Treat yourself to the best Christmas present ever!!

I think people are quiet because they're busy using their MISTIs for making holiday cards. I truly would not have made Christmas cards without one.

I can't imagine how I made cards without my MISTI. It is my favorite tool ever. I don't think anyone has lost interest...just as Dini said, everyone is very busy right now. I can't even get a card made for cooking, baking, visiting, wrapping packages, etc. But, it's all fun.

Dini is correct. I used my MISTI for all three of my mass produced cards. The first design was for the sentiments on the outside and inside of the linen cardstock - stamped perfectly. I had to take a second look as the inside especially looked like I had sent them to a printer! The second was a small tree and a HO3 sentiment in two different colors, beautiful. The third was a scene stamp on new to me GinaK layering white cardstock. The image stamped beautifully on all 24 so I got to play with coloring techniques until I was happy.

I agree - we have all been keeping our MISTI's very busy. I have the original and the small - and I had both of them set up for my Christmas card production line. My card front was layered so the small one worked perfectly for the embossed image on the cut layer, while the original was set up for the inside sentiment.

Which one are most people using? I'm pretty much just making cards these days.

I'm using the original but would love the small, too.

I bought the original medium size when they were first made and love that size! Even though the little one is cute, I really like the versatility of the medium one for my purposes. And if I want, I can even have two steps going with two different stamps in different spots.
