Default My Misti is here!

And with the little playing time I've had so far with it (basically just position sentiments) it is pretty dang awesome.

I use paints often on cards and sometimes it's tricky to get a sentiment to stamp fully the first time. Now they are stamping perfectly because I can restamp if needed. If I didn't use my Misti for anything but that from here on out it was so worth purchasing. Thanks for a great product!

So, was your misti in stock or backordered? If backordered, how long did it take for you to get it?
Just curious....

So, Jeanne... what took you so long to order. I thought the Lydia-force was super strong that far south!

Lots of fun ahead Jeanne, if you're anything like me ( and the majority of MISTI owners) you'll be looking for stamp sets soon too.

I broke down and just ordered mine. I make multiples and am too lazy to use the Stamp-a-Ma-Jig for every stamp.

Does Misti work with wood stamps or should I unmount my one trouble stamp?

I'm unmounting any trouble stamps. I think someone found a way to use it with wood stamps but I can't remember.

Default Magnets and MISTI

Has anyone had problems with the magnets not holding the cardstock in place? When I use photopolymers, the cardstock just sticks to the stamp and comes right off the grid paper.

I think Iliana suggested putting your MISTI on top of a book, then using the outside of the lid with your paper on it to press down onto your wood stamps - sort of like monoprinting.

The magnets hold it in place during stamping. Sticky photopolymer will always pull your cardstock, so just put it back in place, pop the magnet back on and keep going. I re-secure my cardstock in the corner even with cling stamps - just to be sure it will be precise, hold it with magnets, stamp.

My Misti will soon be on it's way! I just ordered mine! I've been eyeing it for some time , but finally I made the big jump. I live in Canada, and felt that the shipping charges were very reasonable and Iliana's service is excellent! Can't wait for it to arrive!

Ladies, can you tell me how long it took to arrive? I ordered on 5/8 and haven't gotten a shipping notice yet. I sent an e-mail to My Sweet Petunia yesterday but haven't heard back. I'd love to see a box sitting on my front porch when I get home tonight.

Hi Debbie. I ordered 5/3 and I for sure used it last weekend, but I don't remember the date it arrived. I love it . I am in Roseville CA if that makes a difference. I received two receipts/notifications right away. I see that you are in Plano. I work with a LOT of people in Plano (remote meetings... Listening to someone on a conference call right now, as a matter of fact .

My friend ordered mine on May 4 and it arrived May 8. She didn't get any shipping notices after original note, so hang on....it will be there soon!

I joined SCS a few months ago after getting really into making cards. After reading about Misti on the forums here I decided to get one and I'm so glad I did. The results are amazing!! When I first heard about it, I didn't pay too close attention because I thought it was mainly for making multiples of the same card, but wow! It helps with so much more than that.

I'm especially excited about using it to stamp on die cuts. I'm terrible with the ones that are solid like the ones from MFT. So glad I can finally stamp them right on the first try! Also loving that I can stamp twice instead of having splotchy images. Really happy I ordered one!

The ladies at my fave local stamp shop were able to demonstrate the MISTI for me today. OMG! I need one, too! If for no other reason than the overstamping ability...it will totally be worth it. I have to buy one soon!

Mine has arrived!!!!! I LOVE it! I knew that I would! I didn't even do anything tricky, or fancy. just regular stamping and added a sentiment at the same time as the image and I am in LOVE!!!

We had a minor blip over the magnets. My teen girl let them jump together 30 seconds after I told her "whatever you do don't let the magnets go together". I didn't yell at her but I think my face registered shock. She disappeared immediately! Teen boy came down and had them apart in just a few seconds so no harm done.

Here's my first card stamped with my new FAVORITE tool!!!!

My MISTI arrived two days ago. I think it just took a little over a week to arrive in Canada! I have not had time to play with it as yet, but I just put the cling protector on the top of my MISTI.
