Hi! I'm baaaack! We're going to continue the MISTI Monday challenges on Splitcoaststampers! Yaaaayyy! Did you miss me?

How's everyone doing? I hope very well! I'll now be running two challenges every month. One on Splitcoaststampers and one on the My Sweet Petunia Facebook page.


For this month's challenge I would like you to make a project, using a fall theme, but he most important part of this challenge is that I want you to ACTUALLY MAIL it.

I don't know about you, but 2020 has been a rough year mentally. This month I want you to think about a friend you haven't been in contact with for a couple months or more. Make them a card with a fall theme. I want you to brighten their day by sending them happy mail.

Also: tell me how you used your MISTI on your project. If you do not have a MISTI, tell me a reason you would like one.

I'm sending my card to my friend, Marita. She had a baby at Christmas time last year and I haven't talked to her since before the pandemic turned our lives upside down. I'm going to put For Being a Friend on the inside.

I used the following items on my card :
MISTI stamping tool to line up stripes stamps and the ability to stamp each color twice.
Stamp set: Stripes and Dots from the new October release from Colorado Craft Company.
Dies: Leafy Layers from Concord & 9th and Botanicuts Mighty Oak by The Greetery
Inks: distress oxides Spiced Marmalade & Abandoned Coral and InkOn3 clear embossing ink.
Gilded embossing powder by Brutus Monroe
Gold sequins by Neat and Tangled, Festive Fall mix.

Here's my card for the October theme, "Mail That Card!"  I used my Misti to position my sentiment in the center of my spider web. Love my Misti.

I made another card to send out to a friend who just found out she has breast cancer. It is an Autumn-themed card for the ABC Round 14 challenge also. I used my Misti to stamp all the leaves and sentiment.

I am thrilled that you are going to continue on SCS.  There are hiccups on all on-line sites but SCS has invested in our lives for so long I just can't go elsewhere for my card making pleasure!

I made a fall-themed card - and had to stamp the image twice because my Brown Ink Pad isn't very juicy. Not a problem when stamping with a Misti!

My card - seen HERE - is going to a friend who is struggling and could use a cheerful card.

I ordered a MISTI long ago and it has gotten quite beat up.  My husband and I ordered a new one and haven't received it.  Can you please tell me what happened to it and how I may get another one?  Thanks!

I don't own a Misti.  So, this might have been easier to line up the two parts of the stamp better.  But, I thought I did pretty good "eye balling" it!  LOL  I'll be sending this card to my niece for her 2 years wedding anniversary.  I'm just a couple of days late...but, she won't mind!!  My card is very much her theme for the wedding.  She had old milk cans with sunflowers and other fall type of flowers at the stairs to go into the building.  I love the fall colors she picked.

I am back with a card for this month's challenge.  Fall Card.

I do use my Misti on pretty much every card I make, but always when I ink of sentiment stamps--especially those with solid lines.  I think I inked this one up three times to get perfect coverage.

Here is a Fall themed card. I used my MISTI to line up and stamp the leaves and sentiment. I almost always stamp my sentiment more than once, and I can do that easily with my MISTI.

A Fall Flower card that I will be sending to a friend. I used my MISTI to stamp with colour and then stamp again with VersaMark to heat emboss. So handy for doing this!

Good evening all!  I hope those of you who are in the time change are fairing well!  I never used to be bothered by the whole hour changes, but as I get older...well, I'm very affected.

The fall cards uploaded for the challenge were absolutely beautiful!  Thanks so much for sharing your lovely creations with us!
