The scraps are more vintage, with an aged look, which is not so much my style, but I finally came up with a design I could live with. As stated in the description- I have a hard time knowing when enough is enough with embellishments, so I kept this one deliberately less adorned.
Wishing you a good recovery from your surgery Misti Monday. Hugs

One last card for this challenge. On this one, I used MY scraps, scraps sent to me by another SCS stamper, and (wait for it...) scraps from a card made in a workshop on using up scraps!
I enjoyed this months challenge so much I made 1 more going outside the box of the type of scraps used...enjoy I did and good luck all my sweet Sistahs!!
Hi everyone! Just checking in! So October is coming to an end! That happened so fast! I'm headed to check out the gallery!
FYI, I'm having surgery this Friday, November 1st. I'm hoping to still be able to get a card made and challenge posted. It may be a little late if I'm not feeling up to it, but I'm hoping to get all my Christmas cards done while I'm off work for 2 weeks.
Much love to you all and I hope you are having a great October!
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for the well wishes! My surgery went well and I'm so happy it did. I'm a bit sore, more than I expected, but today is much better than yesterday. You don't think you overdo things...then you do. When people tell you to sit, sit.
I'm off to go to the gallery and pick the random winner. This is my first time alone since my surgery, so it's very quiet here....be back soon!

My husband is a woodworker and an artist. We both make stained glass windows though he does more than I do. I started out a little shy and thought I would blog about both of our projects but the focus has shifted to my card and papercraft projects.
Misti Monday- Thank you for this challenge. I really got into it, and used a bunch of scraps. This one really grabbed me. Hope all is well with you and your recovery.
