Hello everyone! Here we are, at the halfway mark of 2020. This year is indescribable. I'm just going to say that I'm glad I have my card making as an outlet. I can come into my craft room and just get away from everything. I hope you are all coping with everything going on in the world and in the USA.
During these times of strife, one of the big things I feel blessed by is my friendship with Iliana and how the MISTI has brought me so much enjoyment for the last 6 years. (I even picked up a black MISTI from Hero Arts to add to my MISTI family). In my personal life, I have become enamored with pink, just because of my love of My Sweet Petunia.
So, this month, I'd like you to make a card using PINK in any way! Any kind of card, any occasion. Just make a card that brings you joy.
My card is a thank you card that I'll be sending to Iliana to brighten her day. I try to thank her all the time, and that probably makes me a quasi stalker. LOL.
I used a stamp set from The Ton, one of her large floral peony sets, a coverplate die from Reverse Confetti, a Thanks die from Honey Bee stamps and for the ink I used Altenew.
I of course used my MISTI to layer the stamps, creating a beautiful floral focal piece. I added gold sequins to match the gold thanks.
I made 20 peonies in all. Some purple, some yellow, some orange and the pink. Once you get your layering down, it's so easy to mass produce beautiful cards. I hope she enjoys it!
I hope you all enjoy playing with PINK in June! I cannot wait to see what you create!
I hope you are all safe and healthy!

I have never figured that out...in the beginning you posted on the thread to win, now it appears the card just needs to go in your gallery.
By using the keyword, your posted card goes in the challenge gallery, where Misti Monday can randomly pick one as winner. Just putting the card in your own gallery won't enter it, that's why you HAVE to use the correct keyword for the month's challenge.

Here's a card for the pink challenge. I used my MISTI to double stamp my sentiment. I never would have gotten it lined up to stamp the second time otherwise!
I'm sure it would have much easier to line up my background stamps if I had a Misti. It doesn't look too bad. Needed to get this thank you card in the mail tomorrow.

I stamped several of these images for a group that I'm in. It would have been much easier to use a Misti. I saved one of the images that wasn't too bad...I had a spot that just didn't want to stamp right.

This link is to your whole gallery, not to a specific card.
I am really enjoying that many people are giving this challenge a try. It is fun to see all of the beautiful cards!

I am entering this card is the SCS Misti challenge for good reason. Yes, there is a lot of pink on it, but mainly because I used a wood-mounted stamp for this card (I rarely use them now that I own a Misti) and me-oh-my! I had to stamp it three times - on THREE pieces of paper until I got a good image. Sheesh! I missed using my Misit!!!
I use an old stamp positioner that has a shape like the Creative Corners and it works the same way as Dini's tutorial. I find it helpful as I still own a lot of wood block stamps.

Glad to help. Maybe you can find Duplo building blocks or Lego's to build your own. It does work, but it is a learning curve as you have to keep your paper in place and not move that positioner. I am fairly sure I use removable adhesive on the back of my paper as some of my wood blocks are large and there no room for the magnet, or keep my paper quite large.

WOW! Who knew??? Well, apparently Lisa did, but not me.
Thanks Lisa! Game changer!!!
Jeanette if you won you can then purchase the Creative Corners for using your wood blocks! I'd suggest 2 sets of them as I only have one and would like a second set for wood blocks.
Thanks for the suggestion, Faye. It would be great fun to win, though I doubt I will.
You have entered, that's where you start! There has gotten to be more people entering but it only takes one entry to win You did your part.
It continues to be a fun challenge most months and the unknown person who gives the $50 prize gives a gift that keeps on giving every time the MISTI products are used to make cards for others! Thanks MISTI Monday whoever you are.
