Happy New Year! I am so excited to be your new Scraplift Challenge hostess this year!
I look forward to being back in the thick of things. Lela and I both have thought we might change up this challenge a little. It might be the same some months as it was previously, where you sign up to scraplift the person that signed up above you, but other times it will be different. I will post it the first Monday of every month.
To start off the new year, I thought we would revisit last year's January gallery.
What is a Scraplift? A scraplift is when you find a page or pages by someone else in the gallery that inspire you. You could choose to use the same colors
same layout, same embellishments ... It does not have to be exact but it should be easy to see what was similar. (that is a direct quote from Lela)
Clarification of "How To Participate."
#1. Sign up for this challenge. (Lets do that, so that I can link your page to your name, like Lela did previously.)
#2. Check out the sbc14jan gallery.
#3. Choose a page and scraplift!
#4. Upload your Layout and post your layout along with the original in this thread, so we all can ooh, and ahh.
Please make sure you use KEYWORD: SCRAP15jan
Sign ups will continue until the 31st, but layouts must be posted by January 31
Sharon, Do I just have to sign up here and then do my page layout and post or do I need to post the layout along with my sign up? Never did the scrapbooking one before. This should be fun!

I will put your name in post two that you are going to play. Then you take your time finding a layout in the sbcjan14 gallery. Just post here when you get your LO posted to the gallery, and tell us what page you lifted.So excited you are going to play!

You are signed up! Now, just go to sbc14jan gallery and pick a page and scraplift! After uploading your page with the keywords SCRAP15jan, come back here and link your page in a post. Be sure and tell us what page you lifted.

I love to scraplift! You can do more than one, too. I am thinking of doing another one!
I chose to scraplift Mary Pat. I will probably do a companion page but I needed to get something posted so I felt productive...LOL. This layout will be the right page.
I did the companion (left) to the page I did yesterday for the Scaplift Challenge. The colors came out better on this shot. I just flipped it & added another photo.
What a pleasant surprise to discover that you'll be hosting the scraplift challenges this year, Sharon! I wasn't very successful at completing pages for the scrap challenge last year. I think I'll give it a try this month and see if I can be better! Congrats on becoming our new hostess. I know you'll be great!
