It's MARCH, and the temperatures are rising. It always makes me feel ready for Spring, Sunshine and something new. I was just recently watching YT Video's from "Creativation" the show that introduces all the new releases for the Crafting industry. Fun, fun ...
This month we're going back to the "Inspiration Found Challenge" from 2009 ... the theme was Trends! It's feeling time for fresh and fun so check out the pages from this "trendy" time period. It's a GREAT Gallery to Scraplift from, lots of neat page choices.
Choose a page from IFC21 FOUND HERE Remember a Scraplift:A scraplift is when you find a page or pages by someone else in the gallery that inspire you. You could choose to use the same colors same layout, same embellishments ... It does not have to be exact but it should be easy to see what was similar.
Thanks Lela for the challenge...lots of choices. I am soooo far behind with my challenges and need to get my head cleared before I start. I will add it to my very long list LOL. Thanks again. Happy weekend

One of those trends - the open grids - chain links, Moroccan, honeycomb - are still around today. Not sure about the others. White + one color sounds classic. Bees & multi-color type - eh. Transportation images - really - I have a son - that was always a trend for me.
Love revisiting past challenges because I can probably find some pictures from 2009 to scrap AND this will help me find some paper that was "on trend" in 2009 as well. Just for fun.
When I flip through the book, I'm gonna say - WOW - I scrapped this in 2009, right after I took the photo with the supplies I just bought! NOT!   But, I've always wanted to do this - perfect challenge for it.
Good challenge Lela! I'll have fun looking back at these pages for a scraplift.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, if you can find them, maybe you can hire...

Melissa, this made me laugh! Although, I'm sure I have picts from 2009 that need to be scrapped and this would be a good idea ... but really, bees? haha! I just might have to look through my stash :o

I don't remember bees being on trend in 2009, although I do have one bee SU! stamp set - maybe I purchased it in 2009? I have never been enthused with the set, although I have used it to make cards during DTGD.
I do have a photo where my son found a nest of bees under the hay pallets in the barn. AND I do have photos where they found bees in the wall of my shop year before last. We also have a wood bee trap. And I love honey.
So, I can scrap bees. And maybe use that stamp set. Pretty sure I bought it to scrap the next of bees my son found in the barn.
AND, I think I have photos of bees over the sunflower field.
I might have a 12 x 12 sheet of patterned paper that has bees on it - light blue background, white stitched trails and small appropriate colored glitter bees scattered all over it. Hmmm....

For a trend I did not embrace, I sure can scrap it!
ROFL...needed a good laugh...
I saw a scrapbook LO yesterday with huge bees stamped on them...looked so cool....I was thinking...gosh I'd love a stamp with bees on LOL. How often do you think I would use it? After the VSN Mini Challenge and during springtime, I now think a lot LOL.
Happy Tuesday everyone
