We're going back in time to review something you may have learned in Junior High....Color Theory. The color wheel is broken into primary colors, secondary colors, and tertiary colors. There are three primary colors, red, blue, and yellow. The next category, secondary colors, are formed by mixing the primary colors. These colors are green, orange, and purple. Tertiary colors comprise the final category, and these are formed by mixing a primary and a secondary color, giving the color a two word name such as yellow-orange and blue-green.
Challenge: Make a card featuring complimentary colors.....these are any two colors that are directly opposite from each other on a tertiary (12 part) color wheel.
Great challenge Polly. I’ll add it to my list. Happy day and hugs

Monthly: MMJ Challenge….get inky and have fun
Oh, fun! I had to get up in the night to take something for a headache, and took a peek. So I had two ideas. I think the second one is going to be easier to put on paper - but here's my first one. It looks better in real life, it was hard to get the blue right...
I have my acrylics in storage at the moment so I decided to use pigment ink. I stamped each color on my glass mat, spritzed it with water, and scrapped it with a credit card. Not sure I liked the result, but maybe it was the colors I used. It was still find to do and hopefully I can pull my acrylics out from storage soon to try it again!
