It's time for a new challenge here in Mix-Ability land! Relax and be creative with any project from a card, scrapbook layout to art journaling. I want to see it all!
Use a credit plastic card as a mixer, scraper, or applicator on the background of your project! Use at least two mediums because this is a mixed media challenge after all. Be creative and here are a few ideas.
Add paint (acrylic or dark watercolor) to paper and while it's still wet scrap it. Let dry and repeat with a contrasting color.
Add paint to monoprinting plate or plastic on table and scrap, stir or mix around then pull a print.
Scoop up some paint on the edge of the card and smear it around the edges of your background paper. Or stamp the paint onto the paper in lines or squiggles.
If you're not inclined to use this technique, give all the credits to what you used on your project!
Remember to add the keyword "MIX404" when you add your project to your member gallery, that way everyone who plays along in the challenge can see them altogether!
A huge thank you to MariLynn for adding a sample to the challenge this week!
Have fun, be creative and I can't wait to see what your mind and hands work up!

So funny, just yesterday DH said that my credit card was on a shelf in the hall. I was a bit surprised, turned out it was the debit card for an account I closed earlier this year. I'll be along shortly, thanks for the early posting.
Weird, normally I get really good results from the acrylic stencil deboss. But I had several very lacklustre attempts this morning. When DH (still working from home) queried my painty fingers, I said I wasn't sure if I was making a bad mess worse or improving on it. His verdict, seeing the finished result, was improving...
Thanks for providing a fun, messy morning. MIX404 A Tropical Hello
