Hello and welcome to another awesome week of the Mix-Ability Challenge! Can you believe it's been 54 weeks already?! Wow! If you're new to the Mix-Ability Challenge you can read more about it HERE (and then come back real quick-like)!
This week, I challenge you to incorporate a clear element. I want to see your love of all things clear! It can be anything, but here are some ideas:
Embossing Powder
Gel Medium
Transparency
Plastic packaging
syran wrap
sandwich bag
glass beads
I cannot wait to see the techniques you use with those clear elements! So, show your "Clear Love" and get messy (or stay clean if that's your preference)!
Please make sure you use keyword "MIX55" when you upload your creations.

This sounds like so much fun! I hope that I can get up to my craft room after work. I remember someone made the most beautiful rolled rose from inked clear plastic for a HYCCT card - I've wanted to try that ever since. And even at this early hour in the morning I have a couple of other ideas too! What a brilliant challenge - thank you.
And with such a cool looking card I'm sure the video is going to be great to watch too - but that'll have to wait till after work.
I used Ranger Glossy Accents as my clear element. Its one of those things on my desk I keep handy and use on nearly every card I make! Here's my card Bird Watching

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
On my Mix CAS card for today, I used glossy accents to paint the hearts and for my mediums, I used distress paint, pigment ink and thread (stitching.) It was fun to make.
This is my first time in the MIX challenge. Using something clear was perfect for me because for a couple years before I discovered dies and EF's, I made all my cards with vector drawings, reverse printed, and adhered to white cardstock. Here is my Stormy Reds card

I used Vellum as my clear element, also stickles on the butterfly - but that's so clear its impossible to see in the photo! Here's my card: Friends Always
I had great fun taking Linus on a Mixed Media journey into the unknown yesterday (and losing a whole precious quarter sheet of acetate in the journey, LOL), and since I used gesso as well as inks and clear EP on my Inspiration Challenge card today, it's for this too. I probably wouldn't have thought of embossing the birds otherwise, so thank you!
