Hello everyone! How are y'all doing? It's been rather warm here in East Texas but I'm mighty glad to see the sun. Our entire planet has been on a rather rude orbit. Here we were thinking about spring and school trips and Easter baskets, but instead we have the CoronaVirus Blues.
I'm working long hours without breaks, and I know you are probably overwhelmed, too. The way I cope is through laughter. Do you? Yes?? Do you have toilet paper? It seems to be the storyline of this whole crisis!
If you do or don't, here's my challenge this week.
Challenge - Laugh about it! Make a little memorial toilet-paper project, and add the jokes, the unexpected event, the milestones to it. If you make a little toilet paper roll album, record the details so you can remember to laugh later. If you make a toilet paper casting design, send it to someone you know who could use a lift! We're all in this together, so use your crafter super-powers to get down to brass tacks.
While work has me busy (I'm a rural mail carrier), my craft time is on hold. Many thanks to MariLynn for her supporting role in creating your sample. I hope to jump in very soon! Here are 2 ideas you can use to get started!
I'm not a journalling type person, nor great at all on humour, so I'm going for the paper-casting element of the challenge. OK, I know you've titled it Laugh About It - but I'm just saying that anybody who gets a card of any type made will toilet paper will get a giggle at the moment - this card is precious.
It's drying right now, I'll be back later. Haven't done this since I set it as a TLC four years ago. Fun to revisit it.
Once the toilet paper is on the project, it can't be reused. I'm going to be in dire straits soon. I'll think on this, but won't use tp. More precious than gold. Funny thing on Facebook-someone tp'd my house, my house is now appraised at 1M.

Here's the best I could come up with: MIX374 Imagine... . There is some good dimension in the rat, but when I compared my version with pen detail to the one without, I reckoned the one with the extra detail added back looked better. That was inspired by a card Polly uploaded to the TLC challenge thread four years ago. She had outlined one piece and coloured another, and I thought it looked great.
Ps..no loo roll was used...unfortunately we have to preserve what we have lol.
