Ready for a new Mix-Ability challenge?!! Our goal is to make mixed media easy, approachable and FUN! We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it!
This week's challenge is Pond Life! Be inspired by the environment of a pond — perhaps the critters that call a pond their home, the plants, the colors ... you get it! :pI can’t wait to see your designs! Have fun! Remember to use the keyword MIX329 when uploading your creations to the gallery, come back and post a link, and let us "ooooooh" and "ahhhhhh" over your works of art!
Well, I was supposed to go downstairs and grab pins/clips for the tshirt quilt I am working on, but got sucked into pond life colors on the Gelli plate. Hope to make a project tomorrow with my blue green fingers
I'm playing "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking just for the fun of it.
The challenge requires the use of something found in a pond environment...critters, plants, colors, etc. I'm going with colors...ponds always have lots of green vegetation around them and blue skies (if you're lucky) in my neck of the woods. Mediums: dye inks (stamping), Copic markers (gem dot coloring), Wink of Stella-Clear (hat---unfortunately the photo doesn't pick up the sheen but is really eye-catching in RIL).
