Now's the time to pull out those galaxy techniques and your space-themed stamps, because today we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing!
Your job is to create a card celebrating space or space exploration.
I have a quick video for you on some simple, mixed media moons or planets with a barrier pen, watercolor and ink.

Actually, I really do wish I had more time because I got some super-cute washi tape with little rockets on it in the same pack that my crime scene tape came in. It would be a more time-heavy card to make than this was. Maybe next week. 40 minutes on line to customer support this afternoon, if I'd known that I'd have left the cling wrap on the background a bit longer!!

A shining challenge, Lydia. I did two projects today. This one is for the gallery MIX 338 Moon and Stargazer
I started the day scanning this US Postal First Day OF Issue Envelope, "First Man On The Moon" postage stamp and pairing it with a vintage magazine page and computer generating the words. Thought I would share it here. I hope I attached it correctly. Oops, guess you have to imagine it right side up.

My card not only speaks to the memory of reaching the moon, but continuing to go beyond to explore the stars and other universes. My mediums are: Silver Metallic ink and Cherry Cobbler/ Memento Tuxedo Black stamping inks.
