Organization: Ranger Blending pads

I just posted my new blending pad binder with pictures on my blog, and wanted to share it with you! I am super excited. I searched everywhere for a easy made-at-home, not store bought method to store 60-70 blending pads. When I came up empty handed, I made my own. Please stop in, and tell me what you think. I would LOVE a comment or two! (even if you think it's silly) :p

Nice idea! I store my (much smaller collection!) blending foams in a similar binder. I used book binding rings to hold it together so I can hang it from a hook on the wall next to all of my Distress Inks. I also made a swatch book of all of the Distress Ink colors that hangs next to that - it's so nice to have everything organized and in one place so I can spend more time creating and less time searching for what I need! I do love your idea of laminating the pages, mine is just bare cardstock.

Do you have any idea what you might do with the loop part of the velcro you have left? I bought a pack of pre-made loop only coins from Amazon to do mine because I didn't want to waste the loop part.

Great idea! I'll have to put that on my to do list. Better than storing them loose in a pencil case. TFS!

Looks very tidy and organized! Do you find (if the ink is still wet) that they "kiss" each other and transfer the colors? Just curious...

no, I began using them today, there is tons of room between pages, they don't kiss or rub color off each other. If I need to, I can place a spacer between the pages to avoid that.

That is really cool! I don't have very many of these but I sure wish I did!

Very unique idea. Would not have thought of putting them in a binder. I don't have the pads that fit on the tool. I cut a sheet of foam (can;t remember the name of it but it was recommended by Tim Holtz as a frugal alternative), labeled them and placed them in a floss container that I got for 2 dollars. It fits 3 pieces of foam in each space. I used a Sharpie to label the back of the foam. On the lid, I labeled what is in each space. I used the template from the Ranger site for the color order. Works pretty well and easy to store and transport.

I put a piece of velcro under the my ink pads, and then the pad just attaches to it and technically remains with the pad.
