Lovely idea. It's nice having cards out on display to look at all the time.
My house has wooden louvered doors and I use the slats to display my card gallery. Decorates the doors nicely.

I get asked about the ink pad holder often. It was an online store I heard about years ago on SCS but they are no longer in business.  It's acrylic and has held up great. I move the whole thing with ink pads still in it often. I do like the wood ones you can find online now. Have you seen those?
